The more I see of Oscar, the more I want him. If Aquayid has his money right, I don't think we will. If, however, he got his pounds, euros and dollars mixed, I'd love to have him for say 10m GBP.

For those who didn't see this earlier, here's what Oscar is all about.

You'd think. But no. This section of the Transfer Rumours forum is purely for posters on various forums who have contacts or purported contacts in the Tottenham world. This is a place for placing and discussing any such information.

You wouldn't post Happy Birthday to a poster in a random thread about Juande Ramos. You'd post it in the Happy Birthday thread. The same thing applies here. We let you have a go at policing yourselves. You can't do it. Now it's our turn.

So can the discussion not include corroborating evidence? Or is it just "there's the ITK, we only want opinions in the discussion now!" (Please don't kill the discussion part of the "ITK Discussion" )

Agree to a point. But our best source of ITK did say late yesterday "enjoy your new manager tomorrow" or something similar. We must be able to support that claim from outher sources agreeing with that. Its hard to discuss that particular ITK comment otherwise. May as well have a RO section and have done with it

You can agree to a point. But this is how I'm rolling with it today. And trust me, we tried just have the RO.

Villas-Boas appointed as "head coach", not manager seems to gives some credence to Ali Z's info from yesterday that there is someone else being appointed to help with the duties normally associated with a DoF.

If anything he said the complete opposite to that. He wasn't ruling out some kind of rule for Sherwood but he categorically stated on many occasions that we wouldn't have a DOF.

right, he said there wouldn't be someone with the title "Director of Football" but that we already basically operated with that structure, it's just that three people currently shared the duties

It was definitely said, and Jacob has a good reputation (in the past for kit info and what not). Most people seemed to think it meant Modric gone and King retired, (or that Sig was going to LFC or Vert not joining).

If I recall the consensus from that ITK was that Sherwood would not be DOF but could well be Technical Director or some such. It seems we are looking to create some kind of managerial team but not the old style old fart DOF with the younger First team coach.

Pretty sure it was TottenhamTeddy or something, and when the person posted it they said that he was frighteningly spot on with his info recently. Anyone remember what it was? Just wondering if it linked in with announcements alongside AVB etc.
