JJ recently said we were not interested in him, i trust JJ over this chap

Yeh I agree with you but you can't rule anything out. It might not even be Konoplyanka. Could be Yarlmolenko? Seeing that this agent travelled to Ukraine. He might know something which resulted to him confidently tweeting about an upcoming transfer for us.

He favourited us signing Kono though so would suggest he is the player, its a free which i am sure excites Levy, but the times i have seen him play he looks no more than a slightly better Townsend, hope JJ is right

He's very different to Townsend, in that Andros needs space to knock the ball into and open his legs. This guy has excellent dribbling in tight situations. Still don't think he is right for Poch's pressing from the front system though.

i meant Townsend in the sense that the guy seems to lack a footballing brain, admittedly i have only seen him 3 times but he just seems to be a show pony, plenty of trickery, not much of an end product

In Dnipro's Euro final run this season, he posted assists against all of Ajax, Inter Milan, and Napoli. Can't be entirely clueless and manage that.

He's actually rather good at setting up his teammates, they're just not great at finishing. My greatest concern is his defensive output in Poch's press, but not at all what he can do in our final third for our bemusingly static and timid attack.

There's a guy I've just came across on Twitter (@muzziozcan). Apparently his a football agent (has over 20k followers) check him out yourselves whoever has twitter.

I been going through his tweets over the past few weeks and must say he seems well connected. He called the Payet to West ham deal and also Richards to villa.

And he just tweeted this about half hour ago " Next big surprise will be for the Tottenham fans in the coming few days ! Spurs fans will be happy with the news coming there way ! "

I also noticed he was in Ukraine, Dnipro (not sure why, could be for work) and he is heavily involved with the Konoplyanka saga.

Under the comments on his latest tweet about us, someone tweeted him if it was gonna be Tottenham signing him.. Which he then favourited.

Which I find interesting and thought to share with you guys. Sorry if it's in the wrong thread.

Ps - It's my day off today (got time on my hands lol)

Ties in with what Baldini told me, unless he got that info from my Baldini thread lol

Tbh Drexl, Konoplyanka is much more composed when on the ball and dribbling. Whereas with Andros his got his head down and just runs like a maniac.

One thing I really appreciate players like konoplyanka is how they are always playing with there head up to see if they can make that killer ball.

I've seen enough of Konoplyanka to know he would be improve our game in a big way.

Always wants to go forward and looks for those passes that us fans have been craving for ever since Modric left. Or if it's not his passing range it's his threat on the wings. Very direct and great technical ability. Like a cazorla.

Anyways. Come Friday or the weekend Liverpool or Sevilla will announce the signing lol

Wasn't that piece of information that we weren't interest in Kondogbia (who spells and pronounces his name differently).

rix: This is not a case of if we fail to land MS we move on to our second choice and start from scratch. We have been talking to at least 4 clubs simultaneously regarding CM's. Milner, Nainggolan, kondogbia and Shelvey are not and never have been in the running.

David Pleat will be over the fucking Moon that we are not remotely interested in Naingggolan and Kondogbia.

According to Gabe:
As far as the NFL goes, these complex, delicate and important negotiations were very close to completion when we tried to add a couple of last minute items. Bafflingly, those conditions wouldn't have been a drop in the ocean to the overall financial size of the deal, but unfortunately the shenanigans left a 'bad taste' in the mouths of the NFL negotiating team. We realised we were being penny-wise pound-foolish and have done our best to smoothe any ruffled feathers so we're left with a couple of sticking points, which are being actively worked on.

Penny wise pound foolish will be Daniel Levy's epitaph.

It would be interesting to know how the NFL deal is effecting progress with the stadium both positively and negatively? Also how it will impact on spending whilst it is being built?

Christ. If ever there was fuel for Levy smashing cluttering up the ITK thread, there we have it.
