Reserved only for the mighty elite I would imagine. If you've hit a 23 or whatever goal season from midfield for Spurs - you deserve 280k per week. If you've fixed out set piece hoodoo and last minute 'nevergetagoal' then he deserves that fou shaw!

With the pending butterfly effect transfer situation, can anyone shed light in the transfer deadlines? I know Spain's is aug 31, uk is sept 2nd, does this mean we ban only trade uk based players from 31st? What is the Italian window and the French?

You can buy players from a league with a closed window. The close of a window is the deadline for registration, so a player can move from Spain to England on Sep 1 but not the other way around.

My impression is that it was more of a warning to be cautious - that is don't read any "done" comments as gospel. Clearly a fallout from the Willian fiasco. I wouldn't read anything bad into that - more that its at the latter stages of negotiation which in my half glass full mind can only be positive!
