Right, not poo pooing Gards info however - Sandro posted a pic on Instagram 5 hours ago saying "good morning I'm home", so I will assume the spurs entourage landed in Blighty at about 6.45 ish this morning. Now a direct flight back from Hong Kong is around 13 and half hours. Do we hunk Bale will be rocking up at the training ground, he is gonna be cream crackered! Considering they are 7 hours ahead over there is is gonna be jet lagged, well one assumes.

If the other ITK is to be believed, that Levy is leaving the country, who would Bale/parents/agent be going to see, if this is for crunch talks then Levy would be required surely??

Just call me Sherlock
The HK to London flights tend to take off between 11.30 pm and 00.30 HK time and land between 5.30 am and 6.30 am London time. So seems very unlikely they would get the team in for training in the morning, as you point out

Solado would be a great addition,I think the most important thing AVB is doing at present is building a decent squad that can challenge with or without GB. We got labelled a one man team last year so about time we got strength in depth.

More important now than ever, if he stays what would we do if GB picked up a Sandro type injury in our first game?

Solado, and hopefully two more and GB to stay, what could be better.

If we announced a new contract out of the blue for Bale, I would love to see the look on those mugs who have been relentlessly spewing shit in the papers all summer; what on earth would they write about for the remainder?

DL disappearing off to FL, is nothing unusual as we all know and have seen before....In so far as him not being available for certain matters, thats just plain silly. First of all he is completely contactable, secondly its called delegation and thirdly this is exactly why, he hired FB....

relax, Daniel is.....

Exactly the point I made yesterday in a post that ought to be tattoed onto the cocks of everyone who is shitting their skivvies at the thought of losing him.

If anyone really thought that specualtion wouldn't intensify as the window progressed they need to go start reading Humpty Dumpty or something. It'll intensify and multiply with every passing day and week until finally the window closes and he'll still be here.

We hear he doesn't want to uproot his family
We hear that his growing commercial deals were dependant on him staying in the UK
We hear he's happy to stay on
We hear we're negotiating a new deal
We KNOW he's level headed, rational and calm about these things
And probably a load more stuff that i've missed

Then we get the media, who are either agenda driven at best or outright bullshitters, which you all state is the case when is suits you, a smiley and a couple of bits of ITK, to which the appropriate amount of salt hasn't been added.........

I don't think anything has changed. For me, Bale is staying. I've read nothing that would lead me to change my mind. It's just that i've got the salt right next to me. Some of you might like to do the same.

At some point we'll probably get some positive ITK and you can all feel happy and warm again, right up until the next snippet you don't like. It's like someone crossed Groundhog Day with Bi-Polar.

It's just a shame that very few of us have tallywhackers big enough to tattoo all of that onto

Exactly what I believe, and what I tried to point out yesterday, as well as RM not needing Bale for footballing reasons, they need the money he would generate for them.

He would make the biggest mistake of his career if he went to RM in my in my honest onion, maybe even for footballing reasons to if it doesn't work.

I would lose all faith in football if Bale bailed now and it would be catastrophic for him.

That is why I think he will stay and I for once would like to think that the right thing is done for the right reasons. Football is not the beautiful game anymore and Bale staying would be a good sign of chance and bucking the trend of greed.

If Gareth and his parents are there to sign the new contract and POTL was right about it all being agreed, just the finer details to sort then I see no reason why Daniel must be there.

You can sleep on planes. Good way to pass time, and first / business class it's actually ok. I think he would be up and about this morning then crash early tonight.

I agree but it probably wouldn't stop them.

Until he signs a new contract then that would be stupid. Talks are ongoing, he doesnt want to make a public commitment until he and his agent are satisfied with the terms. not at all concerned he hasnt come out and said anything - he would be an idiot if he did.

He has never commented directly on that sort of matter - with good reason. While he might be in a position to say categorically that he is staying at present, doing so would only encourage the press to keep asking him for ever more. Think what a story they would make of it if his statements became anything less than totally categorical. Also he would be storing up problems for himself if/when it comes to the point where he actually does want to leave. He might not wish to make the fact public - but wouldn't want to tell lies either.

Maybe I'm looking at it with my blue and white tinted glasses on. But I would have thought 'quotes' being attributed to him via Marca, that are clearly regurgitated and completely false, would be something Bale would want to clear up.

Yes, this is all good for him with regards to negotiating a new contract. But from a selfish point of view, it can only damage our preparations as Levy et al have to spend time dealing with his agent and the media hysteria, rather than on potential new targets and getting rid of dead wood.

What chuffing Airline?? My wife is waiting in the Virgin Lounge ready to give a lapdance for information. The Miami flight leaves at 12:30 so he's probably gone already.

Thanks for confirming that :)

I'm sure the boys will have the rest of today off and may turn up for light training tomorrow.
Plus Bale would be going home to see his missus and baby first you would think.

Comical is an understatement..... No doubt he will say whatever Marca have printed as their latest line. Will say that he has no doubt whatsoever that Bale will be a Madrid player by 1st September.
