BBC have reported that Sigurdsson has gone back to the UK to have a medical at Swansea.

We often have this wait with signings.
We all know Davies is coming but it takes a number of days before it goes official. Happens every year.

IMO the only thing holding up the Davies announcement is the other two players. Vorm & Sig. Swap deals rarely come off so a triple deal is thwart with difficulties.

Swansea might want to announce sigurdsson at around the same time. Who knows.

I do not believe we have bid officially as yet with Griezmann. I can always be wrong, but agents having a field day with the media. We all seem to believe we are interested and that may be the case. Let's wait and see. That's what I have heard for what it's worth or not.

Could be any of the parties tbh. Players (agents), buying club, selling club and the media itself playing games - after all it's in their best interests. They're all playing the game and some are quite sophisticated about it. There will be some real things and enquiries being made behind the facade though that only those immediately involved will know about. Fingers crossed for something interesting and exciting.

Seperate deals, not swaps in the simple sense maybe in the media, but in reality swaps don't happen because of complications in players contracts and for tax reasons.

The Sig & Davies deal are connected, according to most reports. Utrecht also have a 30% sell on clause on Vorm so I am sure Danny Boy and Huw are trying to screw them out of that by inflating the Davies side of the deal.

If this deal comes off, IMHO, it will be the result of a lot of hard from the club. They must rate Davies very highly.

Greizman was one of the names mentioned to me last week, so we are interested, but don't get too excited because so are a number of other clubs. Not put this in the RO because it is a long way off from being close.

I think we have shown an interest, papers have caught wind (probably from his agent) and an inquiry has been sensationalised in to a bid. If we did have genuine interest and hope of completing a deal we would playing down all expectation to avoid a Willian fiasco imo. One tiny shred of hope that i'm hanging on to when JJ is being so dismissive...

think you are right, agent seems to be using the media to flush out interest and highest bidder, wether we enter the race is yet to be seen and to be honest think he will go to a club with more money and CL
