Could be, but don't see Pool as ideal place either. Would benefit more playing off the big, but creative striker.

However could get more out of him here too with Eriksen and Lamela. He isn't the main creator, more of an goalscoring attacking midfielder that has good shot and off the ball movement near box and hence needs some creativity around him, creativity that we've been lacking when he has been with us.

AVB wouldn't play those 3 together though, defensively we would be better off putting a sieve onto the pitch, our creative player will play in the same positions as Sig now.. Sig seems like a nice lad but he won't ever fit our current style of play..

Eriksen has played as proper midfielder on central midfield trio, so hardly impossible scenario.

I'm of the opinion that he does deserve a chance to adapt but to put him above Lennon right now says you're ver much in the anti Aaron camp...anyhow this is drifting off topic a bit

Surely that itk info earlier about us getting a Madrid player on loan and sticking it to Chelsea means that Ratboy is coming back to WHL next season. I can't see any other reason for the remark, as no other player of there's has any connection to Chelsea ?
Not sure how I'd feel about the little Cnut coming back mind...

It won't be, Carlo loves Modders, and he wouldn't agree to the loan either..

Always thought Siggy deserved a run but he's had three starts this year and been a bit frustrating in all of them.

I also think Mr Chadli may find himself behind Lamela, Andros and Aaron if his early form is any indication, not his fault but he may have been bought when our expectations were different

I said this before (in a match thread I think) but siggy is a very good player and was a good buy for us last summer. However we have moved on to a completely different level, especially in midfield, since then and probably best for him if he moves on even if only on loan for now.

Never complained when he wasn't getting game time etc and seems to have a good attitude- think he will do very well wherever he goes

Don't think Chadli will be behind Townsend and Lennon. Created the most chances against Swansea and could have had a couple of assists if Paulinho had his shooting boots on. How can you make such a statement so early on in his career with us?

Having watched our first three games that's my assessment, I cant base it on more than that.

I conveniently choose to disregard any form in the Dutch league as I suffer from acute Alfonso Alves syndrome.

From previous postings on here hasn't it always been mooted that Siggy would be moved off the books not because of his level of playing ability but more due to his association with J Barnett. Thus severing our final link with him.

I think we should make RM wait until Monday to get bale, for no other reason than they would need to take that stage down for their league game at the weekend just to put it back up the next day. Hardly a massive inconvenience but I'm easily amused

Wasn't aware of that info, still don't understand the reference to Chelsea though....anyone else ?

Jesus wept, It's all getting too much, thank god we only have few days left of this TW. Mrs just informed me that blobby is in town, so no celebrating today's news, I told her to remove the tea towel.

Number one, Modric came on in a big way for Real over the last half of the season once they played him in his proper position. Number two Xabi Alonso is out for two to three months, there's no way they'd give Modric up and have no deep-lying passer.
