Nothing. I too, like everything i saw with chadli. The problem that if we have lets say kaka and play him at no10, suddenly we only have 1 natural LW, with a overloading amount of players whos best position is primarily the amc role.

However if we got 1bonafide LW starter, assuming chadli drops to the bench, we get extremely balance rotation, having eriksen, sig(if he stays), holtby for amc, new LW, chadli for the AML spot, lamela, townsend for AMR.

This gives us an ability to make sub with no lost of quality at all. Everyone is best at where there play.

If we go with kaka, that means either eriksen plays at a position thats not his best, or he becomes a sub. That imo makes our squad weaker than having every player play at their natural position
I personally think he's the weakest of our signings, decent player, works hard, but I don't see him as a regular starter, good squad player and versatile but from what I've seen, and I know it's early days, he ain't gonna set the PL alight.

It's almost midday

I posted that half an hour ago but it got ignored. I really can't understand why they aren't going hell for leather to get these players registered in time for Sunday. If we are down a goal with 20mins to go are you telling me Lamella or Eriksen wouldn't be a nice option to have?

Has the bashing of ITK especially POTL in the aftermath of Willian killed ITK, is the better question

I think wums like Akqa, and other wankers that turn a tenuous link to Spurs into an opportunity to constantly allude to knowing vast amounts of stuff have killed ITK. Well almost. Fortunately this site is generally pretty good at weeding out the shite.

Crazy that POTL got so much criticism. It's impossible to account for such a scummy move by the chavs and Willian's cretin of an agent.

How do we know they aren't registered, but just not yet announced? That would be my thinking on it...

Nope. And I hope there won't be.

How come? Kaka might not have played much for Madrid (understandably) and he's not as good as he was at his peak, but he's still a magnificent player and would add a bit of class to what is increasingly looking like a side that is blessed mainly with physical attributes. I wouldn't want to take the risk of buying him, but on loan as part of the Bale deal, in the run up to a World Cup? If he was willing to come, and Madrid were willing to let him go, it's a no-brainer.

So any credence to Draxler leaving Schalke? Kevin Prince Boeteng doing his former club a favour perhaps by filling his boots at Shalke? Kaka even perhaps to Milan.

In fairness, just because they haven't been officially announced doesn't mean that they aren't registered, albeit unlikely.

He seems a bit disillusioned at Schalke after saying he doesn't want to leave.

I'd happily throw £40 million at them for him. I doubt he'll come.

I just think if it's all signed and the players are registered then it would be leak city. Agents, players, PL officials, friends, twitter..... with three players involved news would get out somehow.

While we're waiting for Spurs to confirm these signings like a kid on Xmas day, here's an interesting question. Has Willian killed ITK?

Good question. I think between Willian and Bale, ITK has left itself open to the accusation that it is, in the main, either delivered by agents or the club itself. Some ITK was seemingly "in the room" when Willian got the call from chelsea and the Bale saga has had an air of orchestration about it with some heavily contradictory ITK being offered out in response to early suggestions that he wanted/agitated for a move out. POTL was hugely supportive of Baldini in a way that also suggested the machinations of a PR executive. We have to assume that most ITK, even the "nan at the airport" stuff are very deliberate leaks from either side, these leaks get delivered to the press and Lo, you have the original Marca/Bale story or they get disseminated through these transfer forums; if they come from enough different sources, they must be true, right?

On reflection, if a large portion of the ITK has been managed by the club, then one has to say they've done a brilliant job this year. It's been great fun and supported the clubs efforts to recruit and sell players on the most favourable terms. Well done Donna.

It shouldn't do and i'll be removing it, but i'd like to hear Fedupyid's reasoning behind it.

The old 'Fat fingers' excuse is my bet.

Hello Mr A&C

Re the whole rep shenanigans, when the site slowed down last week and there was only one 'like' rating, if you clicked on it, it took you to another page to confirm you wanted to give that rating. Is there any way that could be done for every rating? It only takes another 2 second so I doubt people would be bothered by it. I don't know if it's possible or slows the site down etc but thought I'd mention it.

There'd be no excuses from the fat finger brigade and more importantly, no more moaning from the people who dislike being negged.
