Long time lurker, first time donation (the shame). Hoping it'll cause an absolute riot of quality and early transfer activity! Thanks to all the ITKs as usual.

Thank you it is much appreciated. What you don't see is that the cost of me stamping a transfer is actually £2,000 plus VAT per stamp - Rob signed up to an horrific contract with me as his agent was Charlie MotorbikeInTheOffice Kane.

Thanks for your donation. Your money is our money, well, my money. Stamp stamp.

You know if you joined one of the Saudi football teams forums you could probably get 10k per stamp!

Prof on Coys re Tapsoba and Vdv:

Much movement took place over the weekend. We'd like both. Whether we can get both is another question. No point in delaying option 2 while we're waiting to see if the price for option 1 can be brought down to our ceiling. If it can, we'll be thrilled. If not, we move on to option 3. As I've posted before, for many positions identified as needs Ange believes (rightly or wrongly) that he can coach up options 2-4 or 2-5 to be as good as option 1. Whether the results match that level of confidence remains to be seen.

Ties in pretty accurately with what seems to be going on. Hope we can still get Tapsoba.

So sounds like VDV will be done soon so as not to miss the boat. Then keep trying for Tapsoba but if not then someone else a bit later in the window. Nice to see us move so quickly and not drag our heels as in the past. Better to get options B and C than to be left with option C or even D as the only ones left.

I can’t believe that our valuation can be that far off Leverkusen’s - would be surprised if more than 10m apart. If so, that’s no reason to not get the deal done and for once, just take what is, in context, a very small financial risk.

I'm hoping you're speaking figuratively here, rather than as one who has an insight into the Board's travel arrangements for the trip to Australia...
Getting a “Ten pound pom” deal for the whole group would certainly save us a lot of money to spend elsewhere!

You do remember it is Spurs and Levy, nothing is ever that straight forward, see J. Grealish mess of a deal...
Might be a bit of posturing going on, see who blinks first, but of all the areas we need significant strengthening in its our defence and need it done as soon as possible.

The ITKs have all said we made a very fair offer.

I honestly love that Postecoglou seems to be so confident in his coaching abilities.

That will certainly present more advantages than negatives.

However, I do think he will get it wrong and some players he thinks he can get to a similar level simply wont have the capacity to do it.and he will realise he is better off holding out for the top choice.

Much better overall this way. Lets hope Leverkusen are happy to deal at where we wish to be.

Although, Id say If there has been movement then that is promising. We are getting encouragement.

The thing is this always appeared to be pretty obvious to me 🤷‍♀️ but like with Solomon you get in with hopefully the easier of the deals so you continue on the other one, rather than tie yourself up in knots.

As I'm hearing it tbh. Tapsoba is the primary but they aren't really shifting on the fee as yet.

seems that it will end like Raya-Vicario
I'm not convinced about that, as that was only one position, we have two to fill (ideally) and from what every ITK/Twitter Voice says, we want both. VDV the easier deal so getting done quicker, Topsy is a harder deal so taking longer.
