Pleased to hear that, love the confidence of coaching under performing players but also need to know limits.

So who is missing from the group he’s seen so far? The obvious ones, Kane, Son, Richarlison, Hojbjerg, Sanchez?

So, potentially, and it’s just random cos I’m not sure. But some of of Reguillon, Ndombele, Tanaganga, Rodon?, Davies, have maybe impressed or equally not impressed.

Rodon and Davies will have been away with Wales so probably aren’t back till next week.

Why don't we just pay £80m, £100m £150m for him? Seriously whatever they want for him? You know... for top5!!

At what point do we stop a minute and assess a player's value when the selling club might be trying to pull our pants down.

ITK has suggested we're interested in both... but right now only a deal for vdV is doable. I've no problem with this.
Nor do I, we are, I hope, looking to build a future and you don't have to do that in one window so we have leeway to get players in on our terms. On the other hand the quid pro quo is that if we for example had a senior player who needs convincing it's worth him signing a new contract that won't do it. I'm not sure which one the ITK we are seeing favours yet but it's a circle to be squared.
