Off of itk topic, but something I'd like to add to the financing requests. SC had its own browser on my phone. Homepaged and everything so this camaraderie and community longing for glory is only a click away.
I've been in here for over a decade and as a teacher I'm not sure how much of my summer hols are spent on here, but my wife has threatened divorce and hidden my phone on occasion.
I make the odd donation in passing, but reckon Rob et al would appreciate if everyone who is a regular on this and the other pages might set up a small direct debit of just a couple of quid a month to keep this place tiding over in the slightly less insane months. I have and you won't even notice it except for the warm feeling of satisfaction you'll get from thinking about A&C.
I know how scared I get when the place goes down for an hour... this place has to be one of the best forums for football discussion on the web.

Now back to the sweating on snippets from JJ and Trix......

   We've just had it confirmed to us that Levy has in place our regular "deadline day" overdraft facility.
   
   We do this every window so having it in place today doesn't necessarily mean it'll get used. However, this is something that we pay a considerable amount to have available to us for the last day of the window so that we are extremely flexible and can make cash signings until the final moments without the need to move funds around. Levy believes this makes us far more competitive against the bigger clubs when it comes to spending power for today.

(For anyone too obsessed with the thread to venture out and see these things...)

Re the goat latest, I expect this means that any moves will be fairly late in the day to make the most of the advantage of being able to move quickly.

RE: overdraft, nothing new but I do believe that we will buy big today. Normally there is loads of ITK, money to spend, players on the cusp of signing and then nothing. This time though the ITK is quiet, the players we are linked too are historic links and don't seem that hot. Reckon we are in for a surprise!

As I was reading the Goats post I couldn't help imagine Daniel Levy with his wheelbarrow full of cash running around with a big grin on his face shouting "Falcao, Tevez, Negredo....Take my money!"

You may have noticed a few posts have gone missing.

That's to give you all some time to find some ITK and post it in the Read Only so that nothing gets missed. We're all a giant team here, so anything to help everyone keep track of everything that's said should be done. And that includes posting stuff to the ITK Read Only. We'd rather have to delete 3/4 occasions of the same ITK rather than miss some.
