News from Crystal Palace. It's not the club record deal of James McArthur but they have signed defender Zeki Fryers on a three-year deal from Tottenham Hotspur.

Yep we have a more balanced defence which is good. Out attacking options are very poor we don't have the pace anymore against the better teams to play could ter attacking football. So slow pedestrian play is our only option to poch unless we start with Lennon and townsend which are not the answer.

We still need 3 offensive players a couple or wide players and another creator. Really disappointing evening g to be a spurs fan. Why or why can't we just spend some money that we have got in for transfers

How can you even compare what Spurs have done (so far) with other ambitious clubs? Simply look at the money spent by Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Everton, & Liverpool. Add QPR & Hull to that list. Maybe Joe Lewis isn't doing so well in his investments? Maybe the Club needs to funnel a bit of cash his way? I don't know.

As a Spurs follower I'm more than a little concerned that other competitors are investing in their clubs while at Spurs it seems that money is being drained away.

One thing is for sure, we missed a trick by not signing Able Hernandez. He is going to be snapped up next summer after having a great season for Hull.

So? It's not like you actually know what that means or the ins and outs of our finances but you still use terms like net spend and think you're the cats meow.

Oh and that's an estimated number because 99% of our transfers are undisclosed
