If they are genuinely serious about this. Give Bale a bumper pay rise, get Coentrao, Halilovic, Chiriches and Willian in. Also throw in Lamela for good measure and as a future Bale replacement. (Maybe not this bit)

That would be gross spend of nearing £100 million.

I want to believe this is true but I don't see why he would say this after commissioning us a £50 million LOAN... Too out of character. Also why now so late in the window, you wouldn't be so spontaneous about such a commitment.

One question to pose to my ITK chums though, do we think that this off the chain spending is in preparation to sell the club or because Lewis actually wants the status symbol of owning a CL team/potentially title challenging team now?

Only verified ITKs, apart from those who would rather not have their info put in there, is posted. Take ALL with salt though. Some could be right, some could be wrong. But, IMO, I feel that if at least a few post with the same info then it could very well be seen as trustworthy. IIRC there was ITK suggesting we would spend big this summer, and we have done so far.
