If it is Jackson Martinez then that's a massive anticlimax, there is no way we could afford him, Porto would ask for silly money, they have just sold two of there most important players.... They are not going to sell a third. I guess it says AVB wants him, I am sure he wants Messi too doesn't mean we will get him.

Chelsea's 3 amigos are 1 x Brazilian (Oscar), 1x Belgian (hazard) and 1 x Spanish (mata). If we're replicating it, it's villa, paulinho and a Belgian. Benteke fits the trio but welcome to hear of other Belgians we may be getting. Poirot?

Edit: bad could be Benteke and Damiao. Probably ticks every combination.

I'M ON FIREEEE!! Give me more cryptics!!!!

Edit: And yes i didnt work out the Michael JACKSON link, i only used that to then make the link between that and Roberto Martinez from the three amigos. Credit for the BAD - Michael Jackson solution goes to Goldie. Goldie also got Martinez but using a different method (Steve MartinEZ from the film, rather than A&C's intended link of Roberto Martinez being known as one of the three amigos)

Yeah, I'd rather go for Rodrigo or Mario Gomez than Martinez right now. Like it's been stated earlier, he will be terribly overpriced at least for this whole season and probably even next. (It's porto we're talking about after all)

It just won't happen and I'd gladly eat my both my hat and sell my body to the lowest bidding if this signing were to actually come true.

Lets not make the usual mistake of assuming too much when we know very little when it comes to ITK. All that has been said is that AVB would like him. The Goat actually says he's no idea so all I think we can safely assume is that his name was mentioned. No more than that.

What's nice is the ilk of players we seem to be targeting and actually being serious signing tgis season e.g Paulinho, Villa.

Still hope if the aforementioned two come in then we still bring another couple in.
