That sounds way too risky for Levy. Sherwood and Freund taking over a squad that NEEDS to be in the Top 4 and has a lot of players to keep happy. Don't see the logic in that.

What's wrong with Sherwood? He is unproven I guess but we hardly know what he is made of yet. As an interim manager he is probably as good as we can get.

That's what's wrong with Sherwood.

We are Tottenham Hotspur. We are fifth favourites for the title. We are not going to be managed by two people with no club managerial experience.

Again, it's temporary untill we get a guy in I'd guess?

I really feel for the bloke as i really wanted it to work but am sorry avb its not for you. Tactically inept in england and no plan b. I have 2 names i would be ecstatic over (Hiddink, De Boer) but otherwise i would stick rather than the others being banded about!!

Part of me hopes Levy actually does this and I wouldn't put it past him, he's got previous for spunking away whole seasons. It might open a few eyes where Levy is concerned.

Why are people surprised by Sherwood? So obvious he would be main candidate, at least in interim.

We all know who our go to caretaker is... Who's up for fifth david pleat stint?

Wouldn't have a problem with it really. Whenever I've heard him talk about us (and football in general) he comes across as very knowledgeable.

Of course Vertonghen will probably have to put up with being called Dave, but whatever.

Thinking of him pronouncing Chiriches in a press conference is comedy gold. I'm thinking he'd just say fuck it and call him Cheerios.
