I honestly feel like there won't be another low point in this transfer window for us? Maybe I'm being naive...

Very naïve.

The fact that things look so positive at the moment means that I assume White Hart Lane will actually fall over in some capacity at the weekend.

Well bugger me sideways, our squad is really starting to come together if we can pull off another 3 or 4 of the mentioned signings. Whisper it quietly but we could be challenging , if not this season, then next. :D

Heh the great transfer window of 2013. Back in my day son, there was this summer where players all great and mighty came and played for spurs. Once a upon a time....

Wut?

Why are we starting up the criticism of how our players look, again?

Can't we rag on the Arse players or Suarez or something.

He looks exactly how a hard as nails CB should look, and it's a beautiful thing.

Starting to get worried about some of our more recent signings. Hope it doesn't turn into 'the Starbucks 3' and they start to feel uncomfortable or worried about their prospects. Holtby for example must be feeling a little wary - especially if we do bring in yet another central midfielder (in addition to Eriksen). Dembele maybe too?

I'm sure though AVB will have put their minds at rest. Or at least I hope so!

Loving it anyway, but it does feel and seam a little weird tbh. Maybe I've followed Spurs for too long and these sort of things don't happen to us.

I would hope that Baldini has outlined to each player where they will fit into the Spurs jigsaw that AVB is putting together for the foreseeable future. That they may not be an automatic first team selection week in week out (realsitically only the back four and Lloris will have that sewn up) and that formations may well change despite AVB's prefered 4-3-3 set-up. Having said that Dembele should possibly feel the most uncomfortable reagrding playing time throughout the rest of this season.

I would expect that when any of the new signings put pen to paper that they were made quite aware of that fact that the "team" will come first and foremost before they actiually signed on the dotted line. I know that some footballers are thick but any Spurs signing (or their agent) should have been aware of what AVB's intent was before joing the Spurs revolution.

Our first team and bench will become as good if not better than those of Man Ure, Citeh and Chel$ea. We already now poseess a better team than Arsenal. FACT.

I'd be very surprised if another striker isn't on our radar as long as the money is available.

I actually think that in the team we're building, Adebayor would be very very good, but that doesn't look like happening, and for me Defoe isn't at the same level as the squad evolving around him.

I think the striker situation might be the one that goes down to deadline day for us.
I had assumed we'd confirm the three amigos today/tomorrow and then be quiet until deadline day at which point we'd bring in Coentrão and (finally) Leandro but with Ryan's news earlier...

I honestly feel like there won't be another low point in this transfer window for us? Maybe I'm being naive...
A loss on Sunday would be my bet.
