I would absolutely love Luis Suarez in a Lilywhite shirt. There is no better player who would even consider moving here.

Everybody is welcome to an opinion now while everything is in the air, but if he turns out to be Bale's replacement, I hope all you doomsayers will back him to the moon. You say he's a racist, diving cheat; however he has never been racist, never dived and never cheated in the colours of Tottenham Hotspur.

If our fans don't give every new player a chance then I don't want to be associated with them.

And why would you think he wouldn't be racist, cannibalistic, cheating,in our colours? He has much 'previous' you know.
As for your final point, I certainly don't want to be associated with you!

Why does anyone think Suarez would even consider us?? Yes as Spurs fans we rate ourselves above Liverpool, some media do too. However he isn't a spurs fan so doesn't have that feeling.
He would still only be playing Europa league next year too, i think the whole reason he wants to leave is for trophies and champions league.. I. E a Madrid, PSG, Bayern type team. I don't think Suarez would even consider us.

.... And I wouldn't want him either. He's a brilliant footballer but i wouldn't want him here at all.

aaron doesnt talk to any media, even when kyle walker tried interviewing him on spurs tv recently he didnt say a word, id be very surprised if that was really aaron on facebook replying to people
That's what I thought but looking through there nothing there that makes me think its fake, things he has posted are true. As I said It might be but I don't think it is but if it is then who ever been doing it has been since 2011

I guess Gary Glitter could watch your kids for the evening too, whilst you & the missus go out for a nice meal? He's never touched any kids under your roof, I'm sure it'd be fine & you'd fully support your decision to choose him as your babysitter?

What?

Can I just say that anyone who used to chant the Adebayor song at WHL before he joined us has no rights calling Suarez a racist. And there must be some of you on here, because I used to hear the whole of the Park Lane doing it...

Saying 'your mum washes elephants' is not quite as racist as repeatedly calling someone a nigger though is it?

Either way I don't care. The Ade chant was in bad taste but quite hilarious. While Suarez is a massive racist but a great player, I'd welcome him with open arms.

Suck on that biatches.

So under that logic we only have to back him until he is racist, dives or cheats in a spurs shirt.

I give it 1 game before he does any of these. He won't change who he is or how he plays just because he puts a different shirt on

I don't think the diving thing comes into it whatsoever, cos every single player dives. If we had to start hating them after that, we'd hate every player in the league with a passion. And diving is cheating.

Yes Suarez is a good player and yes, he's a racist and a one dumb motherfucker on top of that.
But I wouldn't like him to be signed mainly on the principle that if we sell our superstar, we'll move to a more collective team, not build around another best player. Suarez is just like that, he wants to be the star and so on. Moving from a team build around Bale to a team build around Suarez will take much more time than moving from a team build around Bale to a collective.
If we want to spend money on a striker, Jackson Martinez is a much better choice. Plus, I think it was Goat who stated that AVB wants to have him here.

I don't think we know or can say he's a racist. Did he say something racist; yup. Does that make someone a racist? That's for another thread presumably.

We chant YID, and some people find that offensive. Are we all racists?

was going to say the same thing, saying something racist, which because of cultural differences COULD have different connotations does not make someone racist. Yes Suarez is a fruit loop but i'd be happy if he was our fruit loop cutting in from the left with Soldado in the middle!!!

I'm actually laughing! Some of you honestly think we're signing Rooney!? You lot need to ease off the Jamaican Woodbine.

More like colombian marching powder, Rooney is on 250k a week and we are not in the CL

He's loathsome. I'd feel sick to my stomach to see him in our shirt. And I don't think i'd want to be associated with apologists for him.

the most putrid thought is all the young spurs fans aspiring to be him & the hero worship that comes with it..... stomach churning

That's alright then. Why don't we sign Marlon King? After all, he's never assaulted a woman whilst in the colours of Tottenham Hotspur. Or does it not matter what they've done as long as they're a top player?

As I said the other day when there was Suarez itk, I'd love him and Solado upfront.
We would cause serious damage in the league with those 2.

Well past indiscretions don't matter to you (Suarez), as long as they didn't happen whilst he was wearing the THFC shirt. So why should the indiscretion of any man matter to you, as long as it wasn't directly associated with something you personally have a fondness of?

SC: Suarez is racist

Suarez signs for Tottenham

SC: Suarez isn't racist.

;)
If he signs for Spurs, Rob should change everyones status to 'Luis Suarez is not a racist', that's the classy response ;)
