Indeed if that’s the way we’re going we’ve no need for both lamela and Lucas
If that’s the way we are going I’m really not sure why we got Lucas at all really. Regardless, if we are swapping to a 3421 again then we really need to get a seriously good cm. That is unless Poch is thinking about moving Eriksen there.

To replace Sanchez? Why?

Because our squad needs that depth in strength and because Sanchez is still young and will therefore have potential poor patches, lapses in judgement, lack of composure in pressure situations or through lack of confidence. But even if Sanchez doesn't he and Jan needs competion like all good players to stay sharp. City have been so dominant because they don't drop in quality when rotating.

We can’t afford to miss the boat on Ligit. Poch wants a back 3!
I’m not sure why, but when I read this, it sounded like Trump reading one of his own tweets!! Clearly I’ve been watching far too much late night television!! My crazy head besides, that’s very interesting news. Thanks for sharing. It does make me feel though, that unless the plan is to move Dier back, we may need more than one CB. Or convert Davies to an LCB in a back 3.

I watch a lot of Ajax - and De Ligt looks like a tremendous prospect. Incredibly experienced for his age. Although I would be very surprised to see him as one of our starting centre backs come start of the new season if we were to get him.
Would need plenty of bedding in before starting in the EPL.

De Ligt was Netherlands stand out player for me in the friendly few weeks. Would like Tierney as a possible rose replacement. And Milkinovic Savic for demebele.. He’s class but can imagine every club in Europe will be after him. Would be a big double coup with De Ligt if at all possible

Barcelona, PSG etc are the best potential destinations for Toby so I could live with that. I would also encourage us trying to get someone like Rabiot or Rafinha in return if possible.
Wanted Rabiot in a spurs shirt for years, wasted @ PSG imo

I like the back three. We look solid with it but it needs the right personnel on both flanks.

Also poses questions about Moura's future too.

I think the question raised is more about Foyth & whether he has a future?

If we're getting DeLigt in and if Dier is dropped to CB, then I think Foyth would be a good replacement for Dier as a DM. I think he has the skills for it, especially under Poch's guidance and learning from Wanyama. We would then not need to spend on a replacement DM for Dier. The funds could then be used elsewhere in the squad.

I'm not a massive fan of it over the course of season..works again some opposition but leaves a lot of space on flanks..

My thinking as well why sign Moura & have interest in Zaha if he wants to go 3 at back & why's he not playing it now if that's the case..seems odd..unless he just wants the option of playing it
