He has full blown talent but it's getting him to show it week in week out.

Yeah exactly. But the players who were playing second half should be playing for England regularly. Carrick and Barkely are absolute musts for me. They know how to pass and move the ball intelligently, and it makes a massive difference. As opposed to passing it square, or forward but with no zip or not intelligently into space.

I know Barkley doesn't always release it when he should, but he's got the power and pace to drive England forward through the middle of the pitch that no one else possess.

He'll get better, that I've no doubt.

Memo to self
Start watching ( and enjoying) England games again.
Four young spurs on the pitch at the finish.
Townsend equalizes (He plays on the left).
Lovin´it.

Didn't he score a good run and long shot vs FC Kebab of Moldova or something
Wiki says he has five for us this season, two in the league and one in each cup. Can't for the life of me remember any of them.

I studied Kane closely through out the game and I can genuinely say he didn't put one foot wrong, add to that his couple of shots and his knock down for Rooney and I think he can walk tall from the pitch. Proud of Townsend obviously for the great goal and walker and mason acquitted themselves well, but what topped it all off was when Townsend scored and the four spurs lads all celebrated together, my boy photographed it and put it on Instagram with #wearespurs
