Winks is injured.
Ray Wilkins on Talksport this week said Loftus Cheek is just as good as Dele Alli, he just hasn't been given enough time on the pitch at Chelsea to show it
Lovely ball by Trippier
Nice move that. Should be one nil
Trippier’s right foot
Livermore looks good in a different position.
Loftus cheek is clearly a very good player. It’s a shame he’s contracted to Chelsea.
Loftus Cheek was brilliant there.
Who does Abraham play for ?
He is raw as fuck
Without the ball England are awful. Why can’t England teams press. It’s like watching a Pullis team. Worse. Without the ball it’s just sink back and wait for them to give back the ball.
England can’t press and win the ball higher than their own 20 yard line.
TBF, before Alli moved to us, RLC was considered a much better player and performed a lot better for the England youth teams (They played in the same team together), so there is a good chance RLC would be the better player of the two had he played the same number of games, which is probably what Wilkins meant. Alli is the better player currently though.
That was unfair on Livermore there, he was pushed when he was on the ball
Abraham did alright, but doesn't like quite ready for this level yet. Maybe in six or nine months time....
Loftus Cheek looks a player, get him alongside Winks CM with Dier in the back 3.
Why are England in a dark blue kit?
Don’t understand why Southgate would pick Livermore over Carroll in a format (CM3) like this, would give England a much more metronomic and adventurous presence in that midfield.
I really should know that.
Walker dier stones jones rose
Loftus-cheek winks dele
That team would be perfect to play on the counter attack similar to us vs lpool and Madrid + good options off the bench like Barkley, vardy, sterling and lallana
