It's just some bullshit narrative that the media have desperately been looking for ever since the defeat, so far they've blamed the coach, the Premier League, the players, the age of the players etc...

It's just typical over reaction and analysis as they look for endless excuses.

Given how well our cricket and rugby teams are performing it's obvious we need to hire an Australian.

UEFA 'A' Coaches:

‪#‎ENG‬ - 1,178
‪#‎GER‬ - 5,500
‪#‎ESP‬ - 12,720

Cost of Course:

#ENG - £5,600
#GER - €530
#ESP - €1,200
I seem to remember reading somewhere a few years ago that countries like Spain, Germany, Italy and France have about 10-12 people with a UEFA coaching license (B, A or Pro) for every one person in England. If we compare the populations of England and Germany only, the Germans ought to outnumber us by a ratio of about 3:2 or so. I wonder who in Germany is subsidising the course cost mentioned here (I assume the B and Pro courses are subsidised to a similar extent), and I wonder how much the Pro course costs in England, £8-10K? All in all, it's very worrying from an English perspective.

They could have done something magical last Season & been humble & had the country feeling affection towards them. Instead those folks from Leicester have become unbareable wankers of the highest order. I'm sure I'm not the only one that will take delight in them doing a Blackburn Rovers. All they needed to do was show a bit of Class & I would of been bigging them up. Instead they , to a Man, they turned into massive ****'s,****'s to the size of Piers Morgan. ****'s

That headline is bollocks. Two out of our 5 boys didn't perform as well as expected. Rose, Walker and Dier all did brilliantly for the squad. Alli is completely inexperienced at that level. To be fair, Kane doesn't have much experience either and he did give a decent account of himself, just didn't end up with the service needed.

Rooney wasn't abysmal in CM but he clearly was a square peg. He's not a CM, nor should he be shoe-horned there to accomodate him whilst others who play that position naturally, and better, miss out. Wilshere should never have been called up, Drinkwater would've been a better option, but that was Woy's fault, not ours. Sterling was fucking awful, should've been dropped immediately, but Hodgson didn't have a backup plan anyway.

We need to stop chasing high profile high money managers, spend the money where it is needed in grass roots football and proper coaching. We have 1/5th the number of Grade A coaches most the major countries have. We need to teach proper coaching to the guys coaching six year olds. Too much is made of teaching 11 a side football, we need to teach the basics of football, playing as a team and close control, as well as adapting to new systems. Far too many England players are hampered by only being able to play in one position. Good players should adapt to systems and the way to play within them.

So is this like 5 or 6 managers in 3 years or something now for Sunderland? Kinda feel sorry for them, tbh.
