Just a quick recommendation for all to listen to this pod. Andros' Dad Troy is on this week and it is very interesting. A great insight into what goes on and what is happening from almost the inside.
It is the third season for this pod and I think it has grown into being one of the best informed, well meaning and enjoyable listens out there. Not for the young kids though!

The first half is basically Troy Townsend talking about his views on development of young players at the Club and how Andros has grown. Very interesting bit on how he is being coached, (not to go outside the man and cross but inside). Stuff about the other U21's and how ending reserve team football has benefitted the Club. Then Chris (Windy) does a piece on U21's U18's and players on loan. The second half is views on Bale, transfers and the NLD. Their views are just opinions but we are all entitled to them, I find them honest and well informed. Flav is the host and I am sure he would be the first to hope he is wrong about Paulinho!!!!

Troy was also complimentary about AVB's coaching style. Very much hands on and better than Harry. (which was obvious)

Troy Townsend was in an episode last season where they talked about his work with Kick it out and general racism in football. Was a good listen too.

TFC is a very good pod too. I listen too it every friday.

I think Townsend's (and for that matter all of the guys) comments on our summer signings is a little disappointing. The argument of too many foreign signings is just dismissive of the wider issues surrounding the development of British players, they said is Eriksen better than Carroll? Well as some who watches a lot of football, yes, yes he f**king is, but that doesn't make Carroll a bad player. This is all a bit of an aside to what is an enjoyable pod cast, but these sort of comments just show a lack of understanding of the problems.

When Troy was harping on about us not having a creative number 10 and completely over looked Eriksen it was a bit odd. I could tell the others were itching to correct him.

Apart from that it was good. They need Hazard back on though.
