Come on now, none of us are privvy to knowing what our budget is and the fundamental point in selling a player like Dele is going to be the wages saved.

I didn't say i know what the budget is.

Its just economic common sense.

Quite risky strategy selling/loaning those 4 and just bringing in the 2 Juve guys - really really need another midfielder.

What were people expecting we’d get for Alli by the way? Out of form for 2+ years on 100k+ a week. If it only the 10m that’s being reported that still isn’t terrible, doubled our money..

Im 200% sure that his song will be sung by our fans at home and away games against Everton for as long as he is there. Sad it’s come to this but his a proper legend under the Poch years. Hero.
You've got Alli, Dele Alli
I just don't think you understand
He used to be good, but then became deadwood

The way I see it we are getting out 4 who aren't playing and replacing them with 2 who may. Complete upgrade for Conte.

Well, the fee for Alli was always going to be tricky, but hopefully there are a LOT of add-ons. He still has a very high ceiling if he can find his way. Hopefully Lampard will be the perfect mentor for him.

In the end we paid 5 million for him and his unbelievable goal against Crystal Palace was probably worth that alone. Thanks for some special memories Dele, and for that brace at Stamford Bridge ?

Best of luck to him

Everton had used up their loan deals, so signed Dele for £0 initially.
From the Telegraph:

Everton have used both of their domestic loan places on Donny van de Beek, who became Lampard’s first signing from Manchester United, and Anwar El Ghazi.

That means Everton would have to sign Alli on a permanent basis and it is unclear what valuation Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has placed on him.

One option being explored is whether or not Everton could sign Alli for a relatively small initial fee, with the promise of future payments that could become bigger if certain targets are achieved.

Really hope we've got a rabbit out hat signing coming. Mainly because on Talksport breakfast, that agent Barry Silkman was on and said there were rumblings yesterday of one signing that was possible and would be massive if things fell and it came off. When pushed for buying clubs area he said London and it wasn't the gooners. Said enough innuendo to suppose it could be us. Could still be 3 in hopefully.
