Why the hell didn't Smith get a start for Derby?

Can I be so bold to suggest that the Spurs "fans" who booed him every time he entered the pitch broke him?

There must be a bigger story behind it - as he would have just pushed for a move years ago - if that was the reason. Remember he was on the fringe of the England team.

Would have thought it was injury related. But then makes no sense for Harry to buy him after not really using him at spurs. And if it was attitude then again why would Harry buy him?

Anyone watching/listening to Capital One Cup games tonight? Shall be listening to Cheltenham v Crawley on BBC Surrey. Also signed Luke Rooney on loan til Jan 1st. On bench tonight. Means we now have Rooney and Torres at Crawley Town. :D

Jay Emmanuel Thomas (JET) looks like he could be a good player for Bristol City. Saw him on Saturday and he's very strong looking. Got a languid style and bet he could easily drift out of a game. Still, was exciting to watch and he's scored tonight to out City 1 up!

Another ex-Gooner down here for City is Wynter who looks a great midfield prospect. Apparently Arsenal offered him a new deal and he declined to join City!

Emmanual Thomas was a huge prospect a few years ago wasn't he? There's been a fair few Arsenal youth in lower leagues down the years. Crawley had Sanchez Watt on loan for a period. Quality player and better than League 2. Wish he was bought permanently.

Yeah, apparently quite a few Arsenal fans were a bit pissed off when he left. He does look good but I bet he can infuriate. City 2 up now, Wynter with the second, JET involved again.

3-2 up for us. Sounds like a thriller and yet a 0-0 is on TV haha. Hope we hold on though, can't deal with ET.

Wolves dumped out by Morecambe. Both hilarious and sad how much of a mess they're in.

Bit late with this, but woke up on Wednesday to see we lost 4-3 AET. Was hoping for a good cup run and a Prem side down here or a London club away.

Great show of support from the Wolves faithful. Small pic but it reads "This is our love, and it knows no division". Got to respect that.

Have half an eye on Accrington - Portsmouth now, 2-2 with a few minutes left. Accrington's second goal was brilliant, the goalscorer is literally pushed towards the ball by one of his team-mates. Don't ever seem to see stuff like that in the PL.

Having been out all day yesterday I didn't find out the Crawley score until I got a text off my brother. 3-3, and apparently Tranmere scored in the 6th minute of injury when there was meant to be 4 minutes added on? Either way, 4 points from 6 isn't a terrible start by any means. But, clearly the defense needs solidifying as soon as. 5 goals conceded in 2 is pretty poor.

Bumping this, because Wolves v Crawley is on Sky Sports tonight, if anyone fancies some football to watch! Wish I was up there to see my local club playing against an ex-prem side in a league game. Astounding stuff.

Just munotes away and looks like I'm the only one in here. Figured this would be good to keep me from Spurs things tonight. COME ON CRAWLEY!

Lost 2-1 to a last minute penalty. Such a harsh result in the end. Had we taken our chances, probably could've won it. Nicky Adams is a top player for this division. More performances like that and I think the play-offs aren't far off at all.

Bournemouth are my second team having grown up in the area. Back in the championship for a second stint. Will be interesting to see if they can stay up and push on from there.

Nice parallels with Spurs, I.e. intelligent young manager, gets his team playing football the right way, club have come into money recently, etc

Try and keep track of ex-bmth players too and Danny Ings at Burnley is on fire at the start of this season. 21 and seems to be progressing really well. Could invite a team like Palace or Hull to make a bid before the window closes on Mon.

Matty Tubbs went Bournemouth but never got going, did he? Wish he never left. Sadly at Rotherham with a bunch of ex-Crawley staff and players (latest of which is former Crawley skipper Pablo Mills).
