Head to the range, i'd played with a lot of good pros and plus handicaps, then saw and heard Stenson and Woods just warming up, complete eye opener.

lol don’t head to the range, you’ll give up!!!

a few years back I stupidly went to the range and watched some of the senior pros

Ended up watching Bob Tway for about 30 mins drilling perfectly struck and shaped irons of all lengths way into the distance and then effortlessly smashing a few fairway woods and drivers miles

Can honestly say he didn’t miss hit any as far as I could tell! Had there been a bookies there and then I’d have stuck some money on him

I later looked up his score. Shot a 78 I think. Took 7 on the first and went on to miss the cut the following day. Not that that’s got anything to do with it but the moral of the story is these boys are on a completely different planet to average, good, very good golfers…

PS just remembered watching Larry Mize hitting one armed shots as a drill. Must of hit about 10 7-8 irons about 150 yards with a nice little draw. Didn’t top or slice any

Bloody god given gift freaks!!

You've nailed it. They are freaks. They're on a totally different planet.

It's exactly why its that hard to become professional. And why you see some guys struggle to make the grade even at the like of the Euro Pro or Korn Ferry Tour. Its so competitive.

Brilliant from Louis Oosthuizen so far. In complete and utter control of the ball with every single shot he’s played

Amazing how easy he’s made it look

Been an excellent tournament so far. Yesterday was great. Pins in tough but fair positions. Lots of brilliant shot making.

So I've got a fiver on Louis to win, promising 170 quid return. William Hill are offering me 60 to cash in.

Take it, or trust Louis to bring it home ... ?

Take the £60. Whether or not he wins, you do

There were a few chinks in his swing yesterday and there must be a few demons in his head about winning another Major. He was majestic for 2 rounds…

He’s lead the entire tournament but I think Morikawa or Spieth will win. Morikawas iron play is stunning and so is Spieths putting

All 3 have an amazing temperament

Think Spieths finish yesterday has left him with a bit too much to do. Such a disappointing end to a fantastic round from him.

Should be a great day of golf ahead.

I've taken it. I prefer to watch the day unfold without hoping Morikawa or Spieth or whoever screws it up. May the best man win.

I'm on him too but they won't let me cash in, presumably because I'm on ew. Tempted to put some on morikawa but I'll probably just let ride. Won £50 on Louis to be second round leader which has pretty much covered all my bets so will be content enough with a place.

Well played and deserved, Mr Morikawa. A couple of par-saving putts on the back nine when Spieth was on a roll were, appropriately, the stuff of champions.

Shame for Speith, thought he was going to get it there but those dropped shots yesterday and at the start of his round today were too much to overcome.

Morikawa is a freak of nature. When his putting is on like today he can’t be beat, because he’s within 10 feet on every hole with his irons.

Morikawa was immense yesterday, he played with such confidence. Couple of the holes he saved his par were very impressive. Spieth had a great day too after a bad start, that eagle really fired him up. Hope he gets back to competing regularly again now.

I had money on Morikawa, Spieth and Oosthuizen, so I cashed out on all 3 when they were top 3 after Day 3. Happy days

Proceeds will be spent on golf balls, which will be promptly lost.

Long story but got a gig on a European Tour event this week.

I’m caddying at the Cazoo Classic this week at The London Club

We!! (Deyen Lawson from Oz) teed off this morning at 7.30am. He shot a level Par 72. Another one of those tomorrow and we could well make the cut!!

I’m absolutely cream crackered. The London is not an easy carry at the best of times but with a Tour bag it’s bloody tough especially when you’re not used to it…

Hats off to tour caddies, blimey!

What a fantastic experience that must be! Just to be there and involved and see it all up close, amazing. Best of luck to your guy today.
