Would you have signed a new 3 year deal under Jose or Nuno?

Good point, transfer wise do you get any feedback conte is a big attraction to the right kind of players, ones who improving is more than money.

crazy that our two ex managers who have worked with him are being linked to taking him on loan shocked either would want him

Different leagues, he has talent but not the mentality or physicality for England.

All hail Luka Modric. ?

From the rumour mill ... probably nothing to it

Spurs have identified Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout as a potential first signing for Antonio Conte
We were linked many years ago when he played for Nantes in France. I think its a bit late at 28 to be coming to play in PL.

Just been listening to the Last Word on Spurs Podcast with Martin Lipton re the transfer window. One of my favourite Spurs journalists.

Was a good a listen, thinks Adama will happen this window (last minute obviously) and expects 3 signings (EDIT - including Adama) to get over the line before the window’s out.

Most of the recent ITK would suggest Adama, Kessie +1. Even if we only got those 2 I think that would be a very solid window.

Think we can afford to wait until the summer for a quality CB if need be, especially with Dier and Romero back soon. And the need for an attacker is lessened if Bergwijn is back in our plans.

Pretty sure that Levy will want Conte backed this window. Given he's identified 3 positions he wants to improve this window then that makes sense. If we're also able to get Ndombele's wages off our books then that will also make things easier.

Amazing news about Lloris, I used to think hows this guy still with us - wins world cup, plays with these amazing players at France, has the ability to start in nearly every top team. Lovely show of true loyalty and love for the club.

Great news on Lloris and well deserved. The biggest compliment i can give him hes never one when a lineup come out that you are even slightly worried to see starting. A great pro and generally safe pair of hands.

the three in news feels positive news. I think we need quality squad players, first 11 hopefully, but simply numbers.

With the number of games we have to play, and playing the some big teams away we can't run the best players into the floor twice a week. Our CB's, our midfeild, our wing-backs, (and Kane) worry me when the best players are out.

So while Adama doesn't excite me as much as Vhalovic. And Kessie doesn't excite me as much as some others. I'd take both in the squad with Conte's coaching to make us solid.

Annoyingly our next game against chelsea it feels like we're walking into the 3rd successive loss because we could be watching the same players do the same things. While he's not Messi or prime Dani Alves: Adama at AWB (TM Hercules 2022) gives me a bit more excitement than watching Royal do OK defensively and offer fk all offensively.

So i hope the club see this as an opp to back Conte with sensible options, even if we have to pay a touch more, because it means we could get CL this year. Or at minimum we end the season not looking like a worn out sack of poop.

Traore will definitely come in IMO.
I think Stevie will stay and be the CF understudy that Conte said he could be.
We desperately need an attacking midfielder, perhaps thats why we are trying to get Kessie now.

Think that will be it, 2 max in, might only be 1.
All eggs will be on Vlahovic in the summer basket.
