Well, rather than risking that - I would simply point people to twitter - Spurs ITK Hub (an aggregator) has a couple of snippets from "The Wolf" who is rated as "Tier 2"

Nothing earth shattering - a couple of names at RW, and a couple of alternative to Porro at RWB
Was about to post the same. Just gonna say, if we could get Porro and Olmo I’d be over the moon. Won’t happen… but what a window that would be.

I just want us to sign some players who are good technically - signing those two would be a great start.

No more workhorses who can't pass a ball properly.

I was thinking about Amrabat. Although he's not proven in the PL like Bentancur is, it's funny how we didn't want him last year and now people are creaming themselves over him.
I absolutely love Bentancur, so I'm happy things turned out the way they did, but still.
Amrabat has had a good tournament but I still believe he’s no better than any of the 4 CM’s we already have. People have such short memories, Skipp was superb before his injury and I’m half expecting him to have a much better second half of the season now he should be fully fit again

After checking out the list of CBs that have expiring contracts this Summer and next, I wouldn't panic. Lots of quality options out there, both left and right footed, that have great experience and could be targeted. Forward list looks decent too! Not saying we have to shop there, but we do know FP seems to excel in that category.

2023: Skriniar, Ndicka, Soyuncu, de Vrij, Smalling, Sergio Ramos
2024: Marquinhos, Bastoni, Pau Torres, L. Hernandez, Badiashile, Kimpembe, Rrahmani, Mings, Struijk, Salisu, Hermoso, Kyle Walker

Dier and Sanchez's contract both expire 2024, I would expect Dier to sign a new deal, and Sanchez to be moved on from if a better option arises.

Nah I can't believe that. We had numerous SC members scouting reports on him last January declaring he was dog shit.
He's had a great tournament but he's definitely not putting in this level of performance every week for Fiorentina. I think we could do with a proper DM like him but I'm not convinced he'd be a good signing just based on a tournament any more than I'm convinced that Saiss would be a good signing.

How much has Ramos regressed? Could he play ccb in the silva mould for us and control the defence?

Don’t sign players off the back of a good World Cup. I thought everyone knew that.
There was a time when we just didn't have the scouting systems in place to see players on a regular basis to build a picture of their quality and consistency.

The world cup can give us an insight into if players step up to a big game but it's such a small part of correctly analysing a player that it's ultimately useless information.

Yeah I haven't watched him to be honest since his move to PSG. I know he's had some injuries and may be too old, but ITK earlier in the window that Conte wanted Bonucci made me look at this list and see there is some experience available.

We also saw towards the end of first part of the season, Dier being able to shift to the RCB. If Sanchez were to go, I would look to sign Skriniar. Ik there's been rumblings of a new contract or PSG interested, but still would continue to test the waters there. Otherwise if one of those left footed CBs are available now for a discount, hopefully we're sniffing around there.

I mean the dream we’ve pursued for a while is Skriniar but some excellent options there. Transfer fee shouldn’t be obscene for any of the others either.

I'm not sure why people are mentioning us buying Amrabat following a good World Cup. We scouted him and were very interested in the Summer long before the World Cup. FP can spot a player and although it's highly unlikely that we will sign him, we wouldn't be signing him because he's had a good World Cup, we would be signing him because we have held an interest since the Summer. It's completely different to just signing someone because they've had a good World Cup that we hadn't previously held an interest in.

This the thing that gives me hope of the future - that FP can spot a player. Just hope that we can spot and get the ones he and our manager want.

It's a shame Conte is are manager then. He loves workhorses. Mind Olmo is a workhorse with a good shot on him. I don't think hes a spectacular player though. Far from it, there is a reason he is and out of lipzieg squads. He works very well in the Spanish system, which is why he starts internationally, but he splits opinion in Spain as well.

Apologies if this was the impression I gave with my comment. That wasn’t my intention.

No reason to not scout at a World Cup. It’s the highest level of the sport.
it's not though. Top club sides would always beat top international sides as they train together day in day out and also if they have a shortage of talent in a position they can sign a player from anywhere in the world not have to wait 18 years for a kid to mature. Unfortunatley spurs struggle with that approach though ?
