A nice article on Lawro and the general change in punditry in recent yours.

Still a cad though....
The article is a good read. The state of punditry now is pretty poor I think, people more interested in getting their own personal views across rather than discussing what we are watching. The days of Lawro and Hansen on Match of the Day is more my cup of tea.

One thing in here I definitely agree with is that I actually can't remember anything Lawro has said. He was pretty bland. Actually, I do remember one thing. When he was on pointless and asked to name a country beginning with A, T, L, A or S. And his answer was Alaska. Brilliant.

Well he's not wrong. To us, Alaska might as well as be its own country - big and so far away :) I mean Alaskans call the lower 48 "Outside" :)

Farewell sweet Prince.

Hope the bbc continue with the predictions page, it’s not an easy job to predict the results in such a competitive league. His Liverpool bias was truly hilarious at times, but he’s generally fair with his other calls.

Chris Sutton

Chelsea v Tottenham (16:30)

Chelsea love playing Spurs - they beat them four times last season, and Tottenham have only beaten them once in the league at Stamford Bridge since February 1990.

Spurs boss Antonio Conte was in charge of Chelsea for that defeat - in April 2018 - but I have a sneaky feeling he will enjoy this meeting a lot more.

Chelsea got a good win at Everton, but the way they got it was not particularly pretty. If they are slightly off it again on Sunday, they won't get away with it.

Tottenham, meanwhile, were devastating in attack against Southampton and I am expecting more of the same from them here.

Add in Conte going back to Stamford Bridge, and I am going to go with Spurs to take the points.

They took the game to Saints anyway, but they also counter-attack so well when that turnover happens. When they get the ball into Kane with runners off him, they are so hard to stop.

Sutton's prediction: 1-2

It feels super weird that people are rating us this year. That usually ends badly!
