FUCK ME, not only have they got David Baddiel going against Lawro this week but he's actually predicted us to win. Maybe my irrational hate for him will go down just a tiny bit

Tottenham v Everton (13:30 GMT)

Everton passed another test last week when they came from a goal down to beat Aston Villa, especially after the way the Merseyside derby had gone so badly for them a few days earlier.

If the Toffees' season was going to collapse, it would have happened last weekend, so I was really impressed with the way they responded.

Tottenham also bounced back from their midweek battering by Manchester City with a draw at Hull.

This is a big game in the race for fourth place and it is imperative for Spurs that they try to turn Everton over. I am pretty sure they will have a go at them.

Lawro's prediction: 2-1

Six member Josh Francesco prediction: I know the scoreline I have gone for might affect how I get on against Lawro but, being a Gooner, there is no way I can say Spurs will ever win a game! 0-10

ha!!

No mention of Newcastle losing their last three games, no mention of them not scoring in the last three games, no mention of them losing their best player and having their other one suspended, and no mention of their gruelling and extremely significant injury list!!!

Unbelievable how this man comes up with his bias, once again hoping we lose as opposed to doing a considered analysis.

Whilst he's right that we weren't great all over the park against Everton, what the fuck have Newcastle been like? Sunderland shat all over them lol

Lawro's Prediction for Newcastle United v Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham beat Everton on Sunday despite not playing very well, which is fine, but what worried me was the lack of cohesion in their team.

I just thought they looked average in all departments.

Newcastle are in the middle of a difficult spell - they have 37 points so they are not going to get relegated and they are probably not going to finish any higher than seventh.

The Magpies are not in free-fall, but it does feel like they are in limbo.

Maybe the only good thing to come out of their last home game, that derby defeat by Sunderland, is that on Wednesday the crowd will be letting them know that they will not stand for that kind of display again.

Lawro's prediction: Newcastle United 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur

win, lose or draw, I hope Lawro gets caught red-handed in a tabloid sting getting tea-bagged in his horrid, saggy face by Alan Hansen and gets sacked by the BBC as a result

I swear these predictions only exist to scare teams and to spread paranoia

And Lawro exists to scare children...

The fact that the man has a thread on here leaves me depressed. Think we'll have to be at our very best to beat the barcodes tomorrow. Going for a draw though.

Norwich v Tottenham (16:00 GMT)

Tottenham were extremely impressive when they went to St James' Park
and beat Newcastle 4-0 in their last away league game.

Sherwood has won seven and drawn two of his 10 Premier League games as Tottenham boss

Generally, Tim Sherwood's record has been very good since he took charge and he must be sick of the fact that
people keep talking about the possibility of Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal getting his job in the summer.

All Sherwood can do is keep winning games, and I expect him to do that at Carrow Road.

Spurs are a good side who like to attack and they are capable of staying close to Liverpool right until the end in the race for the top four.

Lawro's prediction: 0-2

'they are capable of staying close to Liverpool right until the end'

This made me laugh, but also made me incredibly angry. Capable of staying close? Haven't we been better than them for about 4 seasons now? He should very well expect us to over take them rather than lpool staying in front. Pretty sure on paper they got a slightly harder run in than ours aswell, plus having to play us.

A patronising swipe at us I agree.

Could of just said he expects the race for fourth to go right to the wire. But feck him, he's not worth taking seriously.

I think 0-2 to us is quite generous - Norwich are not a good side, but they don't tend to concede too many goals most of the time and are reasonably tough to beat at home.

0-1 or 1-2 for me.
