It left when Dein left.

They should tell Wenger to stop buying crap in the transfer market.... mertesacker, chamakh, squillaci etc. Youd think theyd forgive him 1 bad season. Was to young for it but my grandad tells me about spurs fans doing the same thing to Bill Nic in the 70's. Hill Wood and their other longtime directors run their club like its 1970 still. Besides Wilshere who has Wenger bought through his system anytime in the past 10 years?

When Wenger is forced out he will go upstairs though, that means hes picking his sucessor. That means it Grimandi as the next Francenal manager.

His press conference today was a classic. "should you have a penalty in the 2nd half. Answer. I could not see from the dugout and havent watched it again.

who are you targeting for january. I do not want to go into that.

what message do you have for the protesters outside. I do not want to go into that

It's a decent thread with a valid topic in fairness, but it's a shit title.

From the outside it seems like the Arsenal board are even more obsessed with generating profit than our dear leader. I certainly understand why the fans are frustrated. They were in essense promised dominionship of the earth with their move to the Emirates, but the board back then hadn't factored in the possiblity of other clubs being taken over by sugar daddys, and the board now doesn't seem to care about anything other than profit. They sold Fabregas, Nasri and RvP for a lot of money and haven't properly invested it, weakening the team in the process.

We think Levy's over-obsessed with profit sometimes, but Kroenke and co. are at a whole other level.

I don't think Kroenke evens knows what a football looks like, at least Levy shows a presence

I hope Usmanov gets bored soon of being frozen out at Arsenal and leaves taking his billions with him because if he does get control they will compete in the transfer market with Chelsea and Man City again

The stupid idiots want Wenger fired, I guess they don't realize that he's one of the only managers who could keep them afloat while their board sells all their best players. As if a different manager would somehow prevent the board from selling players for money.

I even remember Piers Morgan wanting Martin O'Neill before he took the Sunderland job, stupid **** they would probably be relegated if they hired MON given their board's behavior.

I don't recall any disrespect for Bill Nicholson from the fans, he had delivered a cup in 71,72 & 73 and although Spurs lost the 1974 UEFA final in Rotterdam it was the board that decided to dump him.

I am still ashamed to this day to remember shortly after being sacked by Spurs pictures appearing in the press of him standing outside the Labour Exchange down the road from WHL at Scotland Green

That's not how I recall it at all. He resigned partly because he was finding it increasingly difficult to deal with players who were much younger than him, and partly because the riot in Rotterdam hit him very hard.

The disrespect from the board was ignoring his recommendation for his replacement (Danny assisted by Johnny Giles) and by not retaining him in some other capacity - perhaps as consultant or scouting.

fabregas from las masia.

Rohan Ricketts, Jay Bothroyd, Jerome Thomas, Justin Hoyt, Francis coquelin, Emmaunel Frimpong

So they've had 13 players go on to play multiple EPL games straight from their academy.

How man have we had?

What is it that they want back then? boring 1-0 wins? Alcoholic players? Their club captain in jail?

There was a bit of grumbling in the mid-60s when we had a couple of poor seasons, but things picked up from 1967. Spud has the right of it with the way he left the club.

Nail on head.

That's the point I think: they don't know what they are wishing for because selective memory means that their team was never boring and full of delinquent criminals.
