That front 3 of Ronaldo Suarez and Bale would be the best in the world. That is marketable on it's own.

Toela don't do it to yourself - we had the Bale has a new baby and won't uproot the family, Bale's missus won't leave Wales and wants to stay there for at least another year, Bale loves AVB and being the main man at Spurs etc etc etc...

It is inevitable.

Suarez has already enrolled his Daughter in Primary School in Liverpool and told the club and his friends so if he's planning on going to Madrid it certainly weren't in his thinking as recent as a week ago.

Is this because no parent in the history of parenting has enrolled a child in school, then moved jobs to a different area before said child starts the school term, no, obviously this has never been done.

its coming... i can smell a big bid for surez, maybe after the world cup. liverpool has already gone out and strengthen...

we will see if Surez has an extended holiday after the world cup. ;)

I'd be pissed off if they picked up Morata on loan (probably with option to buy) as part of it though. They can offer CL so could well happen if there's any mileage in it.

maybe everton will make a last minute move for him

I do find it amusing how badly Spurs, Utd, Arsenal and Everton fans are falling over themselves trying to persuade themselves and anyone who will listen that Suarez will definitely will be a Madrid player come Sept. Pure desperation.

I don't for one minute think JWH will sell for anything less than a world record fee and now we made CL there are no active release clauses in his contract. Him kicking off won't matter a jot just like last season as he knows the consequences (which is why he won't play up). JWH won't sanction a sale either again because (unless Madrid decide to change their minds on Benzema) there is no-one to replace him and JWH is a stickler for that.

I honestly believe he'll stay now we have CL football as he has said several times in interviews he wants to experience.

Also, Marca isn't Gospel. There were at least 4 stories from them this time last Summer reporting a deal agreed with Suarez taking him to Madrid and several front pages. They have to fill it with something everyday. here's just one example:

A deal for Luis Suárez - MARCA.com (English version)

Even if we do sell him, with the money we have to spend and the targets we have already made a move for I'm confident we'd still come 4th.

He would leave you for Madrid in an instant. What I find amusing, is how one season back in contention has you so confident. I'm confident you'll falter again next year, the main reason you did so well this year was due to the absolute ineptitude of the competitors - and most other teams in the league (as well as obviously Suarez et al performing out of their skin). As for your targets, how much of your upturn has been down to Rodgers transfers? Not much, at all.

Chelsea/United/Arsenal/Us all a shambles this year. City were the only team with their shit semi-together and they still beat you to the top in what will be your highest league finish for the foreseeable. United, Chelsea, and Arsenal will all be stronger next year, and if you lose Suarez you won't compete - you couldn't sign 7 players that would have the impact he does - as we have found. You're delusional.

Please don't convince yourself we're all hoping you fall over yourselves because you're this amazing team, it's because your fanbase is built up of 95% insufferable ****s. Most of us, crazy as it seems, would much rather we just got our shit together, rather than needing you to revert back to the awful team you were prior to last season.

Remember all the "itk" we had about Bale nonsense.

Such as:
A bloke renewed Bale's girlfriend's cell phone contract for 3 more years. No way they are going to move with her locked down! :ROFLMAO:

It's so hard to accept the loss of a player like Bale/Suarez, that you are hanging on every positive word that comes out.

The Suarez thread on RAWK has been locked because...

"I'd rather people would just stop discussing it as it's boring, predictable and shite." - Rawk Mod

...and there's quite a bit of panic, I don't think Toela's fellow fans all share his optimism. As you can see it's not just Spurs/Utd/Everton fans wanting them to fail, there are a number of Liverpool fans who've taken off their red tinted specs and this is just from one page.

Oh here we fucking go, going to be like this all summer. Can't even be arsed with it.

It's not as clear cut as that mate. We won't want to sell him to anyone, but if there is one club I can see him leaving for it's Real. I know we convinced him to stay last summer, but he wanted to go to Arsenal, who let's be frank aren't the pinnacle of club football (whatever they like to believe). But Real are a different entity. As Liverpool fans we always believe our club is best place to be, but we've seen so many times over the last few years that players believe other clubs are a step higher than Liverpool. Also, Real never actually put a bid in because they concentrated their efforts to sign Bale. If the opportunity arose to sign for them I'm sure he'd seriously think about it.

It's all well and good saying he's happy here and we won't sell him. Both points which are true. However, if Madrid start circling it could turn his head. Hopefully that doesn't happen, but if there is any shred of truth to these stories emanating from Madrid that they've made him their priority this summer then don't at all be surprised if this turns in to another summer shit show.

In my opinion, it looks like Real want him and I'm pretty sure Luis would love to play for Real.

All your arguments are thrown in the window the moment you realize that for the bulk of the Latino-Spanish players the pinnacle of theirs careers is to play for Real or Barca..

Even if we do the triple next season and double his wages, it doesn't change this fact,i mean look at Ronaldo for a similar situation.

Doesn't matter what he says.

Look. All we asked of him last year was to give us one more season. Get us into the Champions League, give us the opportunity to attract better replacements, don't move to another English club.

He's done that. He gave absolutely everything for us this term when he could have sulked. He cried as much as anyone of us, if not more, when we missed out on the league.

He's almost 28, he's at the peak of his career. He deserves to be playing for a team not only in the champions league, but in the champions league to win it. He's won next to nothing in his club career and the clock is ticking.

Of course we hold all the cards- but at the end of the day, if he puts in a transfer request and wants to go, I just cannot see us blocking his exit (solely to Real or Barca) if we get the right fee. And he'll leave with my full blessing.

Also just for a laugh...

Here is why I believe Suarez is staying:

Anyone who read the long ESPN article on Suarez knows his wife is whom he adores. She calls the shots. She told him he needed to curb his on pitch antics or she'd never come watch him again. He's improved his on pitch demeanor significantly.

She has said she likes it in Liverpool because it reminds her of Uruguay with the passion for football and how they take to the players. The kids are settled with their son born in Liverpool.

Suarez has admitted Steven Gerrards words to him is what help change his attitude around when he was tempted to leave. Suarez admits he won't be treated like he is at Liverpool.

I am sure as hell he'll be here no matter what they might offer, and banging some shitload of goals.

Also I noticed that that his endorsement potential have risen tremendously, Being SI Cover boy, now FIFA 15 face probably, we need to capitalize on that front too.
From bad guy to good one
From street sweeping to luxurious mansions

JWH won't let him go after all we've been through, & Perez doesn't know where he's getting into it, you'll be disappointed very dearly Senior Perez.

Won't they? Given the fact that they narrowly lost the title to their local rivals and knowing what their biggest rivals and most successful team in their league of recent seasons have a transfer ban coming up, I suspect they will see this as the perfect opportunity to spank some money down and strenthen.

Benzema was good last season, but no doubt he doesn't fit with their star studded front line.

If he has that release clause for 70 million in his contract then he will end up at Madrid without much doubt.

If he doesn't , I suspect we will be looking for a 100 million and even that may be enough. I just cant see Madrid spending that sort of money on Suarez without the commercial value.

There is no point JW Henry losing him for 70 million. I think he is pragmatic to understand that would essentially leave us at huge risk of missing out on the CL next season. Its not only the money brought in via that competition but most of the sponsorship deals will have an incremental increase built in subject to qualifying. Then on top of that he is looking for sponsorship for the new stands at Anfield.

I imagine we will be happy to keep him even if he does kick up a fuss, just like last year.

None of the other factors suggested by Toela matter.

PS i dont rate Benzema at all and hope that Arse spunk most of their budget on him.

Doubt RM would be able to afford another world record player

Did you see how much money they made from competitions last season and how much Bale made for them on top of that in sponsorships? I'd say they could afford to buy Suarez twice on one of their pay as you go deals.

Not to mention a zero-interest loan from the government.

Weren't they struggling last year to show us that they could afford Bale? Plus they still have to make payments for him and also would then have to make payments for Suarez which would be just as high if not higher.

But these new incomes they have also have to cover other expenses, not just the purchasing of a new player

Allegedly. More likely pleading poverty to try and get Levy to drop the asking price by €15m.
