They were talking about him on Football Weekly recently. Apparently he's been over in England for a while trying to learn the language and culture. I doubt that will prepare him for Hull though.
Yeah I heard them talk about him too. My thoughts at the time were basically "who's dumb enough to take a punt on him?"

Him and Nuno Espirito Santo at Wolves will go down well in the Championship...

The Championship will be a powder keg with some of the goofball managers in there next season.

Slutsky confirmed. The Championship looks to be more entertaining than the PL on the touchlines next season.

Monk offered the Boro job. If he takes it my money's on them coming straight back up.

Frank De Boer rumoured to have agreed to take over at Palace

That's a strange one when the chairman said he wants someone who will stay for years. De Boer seems quite ambitious.

Probably a good appointment though.

Lets be honest, he might stay there for a bit if he does really well there and none of the top 6 go calling.

Yes, but I thought he was quite vocal about wanting to manage a big club? Maybe that itch was scratched when he went to Inter though. I'm not having a go at him, but it doesn't seem to fit with the chairman's comments about signing someone who isn't going to just see them as a stepping stone. Probably strange comments anyway when managers are usually sacked within two years.

If they did then they should have it via a managerial lottery. Imagine that...you could end up with Sherwood in August

and then Sherwood again in January

. You could be flying high in December with Pochettino (y) ...rock bottom in April with McLaren

:wtf:

Managers would have to gain enough points over the course of the season to be eligible for the next season...failure means managerial Logan's Run. The alternative is West Ham.

Imagine seeing all the good managers go from the list and you end up weighing up the pluses of AVB or Moyes...

Fans would sit there rocking back and forth chanting 'anyone but Moyes, anyone but Moyes, anyone but Moyes...'

"New manager is...David Moyes..."

Fuck!

This system would also need the managers to adopt a shitty gimmick that they're famous for. Pardew would have to fight on the touchline. Wenger would be buried within a giant coat and have to view the match via a periscope (the only way he can 'see it'). Sherwood would have some kind of shit gilet covered in actual shit and things from the bins like old crisps, used johnnies, tampons and lettuce leaf. Harry Redknapp would obviously have a motobility scooter...this would replace the car window and he would be able to drive about a bit. Unfortunately said scooter would be hackable by any fool with a crap app on their phone...meaning the entire stadium can fuck with the Redknapp and his touchline scooter.

Now that would be a merry go round.
