Really strange decision. Seemed to be doing well last season, especially getting to the cup final. Didn't they give him a really long contract extension?

Fuck sake. I guessed him for first sacked last year.
As did I!

They've averaged less than a point a game in the league since January. That is relegation form that the cup run masked over.

The timing is really strange, you'd have thought they'd have done it sooner after the last game instead of waiting a whole week.

Hiring an ex-manager for a rescue mission, the Pozzos truly are Italian!

Of all the names they could've gone for, I would never have guessed Flores
To be fair, I rarely guess who they go for...

Not surprised that Gracia were one of the first to go but Quique Flores to replace is a bit strange imo. Maybe a season contract

The streak continues! Watford has changed manager at least once each calendar year since 2011.

It still feels harsh. If you look at their results since January they weren't beaten by many teams that you would expect them to beat - although they did draw a few. They had a few big defeats after winning the semi final though and haven't started well this season. It they'd been patient I think the results would have improved.

I cannot believe how often Watford sack managers and they still do quite well considering!

Thats madness, he didn't even do that good of a job there in the first place. Their form after january was dreadful

The FA cup defeat to City was brutally and eternally humiliating, I would have thought the close season would have seen him gone.

Presumably they decided they would sack him after the last game but wanted to wait until they'd sorted out a replacement before announcing it.

The more I think about the QSF reappointment the weirder it gets. His win percentage since leaving Watford has been even worse than it was for them. And the last league he managed in was the CSL!

Even the Watford fans are perplexed. I can see them having a long hard season.

They will, look at the team. Talent in attack but a defence that is relegation fodder.

It's amazing because this time last year they were genuinely a team to be feared for the 19/20 season along with Leicester etc. A really poor transfer window, and 1 point from 4 games having not really played any of the top clubs. Something has gone seriously wrong there. We thought we had problems!
