Just on a positive note - Michael Dawson, as he has been every time I have seen him this season, was excellent today. He is one of the few spurs players who puts his body on the line for us and one of the few of whom I'm proud to have playing for us. To come back from those quite frankly rather poor performances that he was putting in last season shows "triffic" character. I am delighted that he has proved me and many others wrong.

Quick note about Robbie Blake - I honestly believe that's one of the best performances I have ever seen in terms of the ability a player has at his disposal. Boy, did he work hard and terrorise our defence and his tracking back as well! Without a doubt the finest display I have ever witnessed from a Championship player.

Blake also played brilliantly against us in 2002 (when they beat us 2-1). Unfortunately he can't perform like that on a regular basis, otherwise he'd be playing in the Prem regularly. When he had his (two) chances in the Prem he did fuck all.

We just have this habit of making these (shit) players look good. See also Nugent, David on Sunday.
