Went to bed at half time, didn't want to wake up to a Patriots win and I didn't! Hard cheese, Mr Kraft!

Good win, so glad Patriots didn't win.

This time next year we could be celebrating a Bears superbowl win:cautious:

    Brilliant final, loved Foles touchdown!

Philadelphia is getting absolutely smashed up , I’ve never really understood the ‘victory riot’ side of American sport

“We’ve won-let’s burn and loot our home town”

I’m confused.. how can you be “world champions” in a sport played just in America?!

TBF that isnt the worst, US baseball or MLB finals is called the world series and that is a sport played outside of the US but features no foreign team

That's not necessarily true...Both MLB and NBA do feature teams from Toronto Canada.

That was a seriously great advert for the NFL last night. It had everything, superb performances, narrative, a scorching pace of play, and a big finish.

Levy must be getting excited about the NFL tie up!

because nobody else plays (american) football anywhere near the level its played in the States. you may find it arrogant but its a fact.

Correct. The four major (North) American leagues are unquestionably the pinnacle of their respective sports. The champion is without a doubt the best team in the world at their sport. The EuroLeague winner cannot compete with the Golden State Warriors. The best Russian hockey team would be destroyed by the NHL champion. The best baseball team in Korea cannot compete with the best in MLB. I have no idea what the next best professional American football team outside the NFL is, but they might have players die against the Eagles.

Not saying you are wrong, but...............................................................................

If you don't play any other teams, how do you know?
    Just saying.........;)

Wasn’t meant to come across as me calling t arrogant. I knownlittle to nothing about NFL. I actually half asked in expectancy that someone would explain to me that there is some sort of other competition, or some reason why they would be legitimate “World” champions.

A question based on my own ignorance as opposed to their arrogance!

Probably a daft question, but what exactly is it that Butler did to cause him to be benched for the game? All the TV/radio people are pissing me off with their "I know something you don't know" attitude. Whenever they're talking about it, people keep saying it was a "rule violation" but not elaborating, or saying "his alleged behaviour, which I'm not going to get into right now" or saying "If what I've been told is true..." while all looking at each other chuckling because they're all "ITK" or whatever. What has the guy actually done? I heard he arrived a day later than the rest of the team due to illness but surely it can't be that that everyone's being so hush-hush about.
