I think @moomin has a monster of a team.
I think i ended up with a steady team. Don't know that i will ever rack up huge points but i should be consistent and able to play match-ups as needed.
Really hope we have a better season than last season .... (Bears). Very tough opener for us though, can't see anything but a heavy defeat. Not really the start we could do with.
He'll play the season then sit out through week 6 next season. He'll take the Brady route of a restraining order then lose the appealhttps://mobile.twitter.com/mortreport/status/905224425779363840
Ouch. Im sorry @werty. But it sounds like he'll be available week 1?
TBH I was kind of expecting it. Hopefully I'll do well without him, or do so bad early that I'll get my pick of breakout players.https://mobile.twitter.com/mortreport/status/905224425779363840

Sucks for them but 100% expected. Theres a hurricane with 185mph winds barreling towards FloridaIn other news, the Dolphins - Bucs game has been postponed until November when both team have a bye. That means both teams will have to play at least 16 straight weeks without a break.
They could have moved the game somewhere else or play it earlier. Moving the game to the bye week is probably the worst option of the three.Sucks for them but 100% expected. Theres a hurricane with 185mph winds barreling towards Florida
Everyones evacuating already and if they cant get out, then are hunkering down inside so earlier was out of the question. Playing it elsewhere has too many logistical problems associated with it. Plus the whole of the SE is going to be effected by this as the storm is so massive. Also, playing on the bye week is probably the least of the concerns of the 2 teams right now. This storm can be catastrophic to the region. They could have moved the game somewhere else or play it earlier. Moving the game to the bye week is probably the worst option of the three.
If the Bears are smart they'll make Trubisky a third stringer and put him on the scout team. The guy only has one season as a starter in college under his belt so he's going to need time to develop and it would be better for him and the Bears that he does that away from the criticism of the fans and media and away from defenders wanting to hit him. How many QBs has Cleveland drafted and then thrown to the wolves? Roethlisberger, Rivers, and Romo were third string QBs in their first seasons. Big Ben only got his first start due to injuries (plus the risk was mitigated by the fact he was surrounded by Pro-Bowlers and future Hall of Fame players). Let Glennon and Sanchez receive the beatings and endless criticism while the Bears build for the future.

I'm sure it is, but didn't the Giants and Vikings play a game in Detroit on short notice a few years ago? A college game was moved around last week too on short notice. It takes a huge amount of co-ordination to put on a NFL game. Security, traffic, vendors and their supplies, stadium staffing, tv/radio crews, the field has to be at a certain quality selling tickets etc.
Very difficult to pick up and just play a game on, at best, 1 week notice in a new city that isn't prepared for an NFL game.
They wouldn't lose that much money from losing a home game, and Stephen Ross is loaded. Not sure moving the game would've been popular as they'd lose a home game, along with a lot of money as a result. As for playing the game earlier, I suppose that was a possibility but maybe that's a nightmare at such short notice in terms of all the organization/infrastructure that goes with putting on such a massive event. There's all sorts of things like cleaning, catering, inventory, safety checks, logistics, police/fire/safety organization etc. that all go into it. There's thousands of moving parts, metaphorically speaking, and suddenly having to bring all that forward 3 or 4 days with very little notice is probably an absolute nightmare.
