Also media keep saying as chealea are not in Europe they are not impacted by ffp for this year. Last time I checked we are in the same situation...

We have over a £400m FFP buffer, probably more now. The Chelsea thing is about the 5 year amortisation rule.

People will do that, people will forgive as soon as they sign a player.

That's why it's important to trust the Trust and protest the ticket prices. The transfer business and results will fluctuate as as will people's support on them but then ripping people off won't.
I must admit, i have no faith in the trust. Not because I don’t think it’s a useful system to communicate with the club on behalf of the fans. But because they seem incapable of constructing good arguments against the identified problems.

For example, putting out the statement complaining about our star player being sold hours before the season kicks off when Ange made it clear that he was aware that this was the likely outcome from his first meeting with Kane, is such an own goal. And to demand to know who sanctioned the sale? A pointless question which just makes them come across as toddlers throwing their toys out the cot.

I do think THST could play a very important role, but right now it seems to be little more than a fan pageant meets a Twitter debate. Ideally, it would be run by people who are there based on their ability to go toe-to-toe with the board (lawyers, businessmen, people with pro sports experience), not people who are elected because they’re proper Spurs.

Look at the mess the purple and yellow campaign. They have pissed off pretty much every Spurs podcaster, one of the founders got all sorts of accusations and haven't managed more tham a hundred or so people to a demonstration.

Then change for Tottenham last five minutes until it refused to say who was behind it

The Trust aren't perfect and they have to play politics to an extent which makes them ineffective but what they are is organised, moderate enough to attract a much wider range of people and have the resources to do it properly.

It is he current route of action carries on it won't get anywhere. It needs to be something podcasts like the fighting cock , LWOS, extra inch, View from the Lane will advertise and support. It needs to be something that people who do the podcast rounds don't despise like they do with purple and gold because of the abuse they get and it needs to be far more targeted than spend money on a winger because so many will lose anger once Levy throws a new toy at them.

So when I say trust the Trust I simply mean use that route to start proper and organised protests, from there hopefully things grow organically into something much bigger.

I honestly think Levy does want success he’s just either thought he’s known best and/or been badly advised.

The last 4 years were a very clear reflection of that in so many ways.

More lately we seem to be going back in a far better direction to hopefully lead to some success.
Of course he wants success. The statements that we don't care about winning anything is ridiculous! Of course there are a lot of things that need to be done better, but don't forget the things he has overseen which needed to be done to get us in a better situation for sustainability. In decision making and we have to remember people look at things in different ways, there isn't always a right or wrong. I'm not convinced we have turned any corner in regards to how we spend money or make decisions in regards to transfer but I still don't see a 'levy out' moment. I think he wants to see success at the club as much as the fans do.

17 days of transfer window left and our current net spend is 0
Been here before mate. Same as every window not be long to all the rumours die off completely then we get linked with some random big name player the day before deadline that will materialise into nothing. Then the same exvuses as every window about being unable to shift players.
Dejavu.

Is our net spend actually zero each window?

I'd like to see the stats of the last say 8 windows, the 3-4 in the new stadium and the 3-4 before that.

It’s all gone awfully quiet on incomings eh? I can’t believe we have to sell before we buy to? Sorry we can still sell AFTER we’ve got players in? We need minimum cb & st- I do hope we’re not done for the window.

also, had the Itk thread gone? It isn’t there one cos we’ve not had any? I’ve searched but still can’t find it?

It is an absolute disgrace we did not have at least 3 signings lined up and announce straight away after Kane left. This Levy fck should never be able to set foot in the stadium again. Make it unbearable for him and his family. Only way to get rid is to get hostile. Nothing physical but relentless abuse.

I actually dont believe we will sign anyone else before the window closes

What has his family done to deserve abuse? Also, what do you mean by hostile?

Edit: I'm Levy out, but abuse and hostility the way I define those words doesn't sit well with me.

Which also makes us more attractive to a potential buyer, just like Mike Ashley's frugally run Newcastle did to the Saudis. Think they had 300m-400m buffer with FFP when they took over.
