Why don't we all turn up en mass for a monster piss up on the steps of their stadium, dress their statues in spurs shirts, and sing spurs songs long into the night?

I'll bring the crisps.

As the top side in London perhaps we should get a Spurs shirt on Nelson in Trafalgar Square.

Man Utd won the title last year with 80 points!

If we got 88 points and finished 3rd, I'm not sure how I would feel!

Can we please all f*** off with the BBC predictors. We should still be taking this season one game at a time and not be getting ahead of ourselves. Next up is Swansea away which will be difficult so let's back the lads for that one and see what happens.

To an extent I agree and hopefully the players are taking it one game at a time, but I keep looking at our games after the Wolves match (including City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea away and United at home) and thinking we need to build up some serious points in our next few games.

Swansea, West Brom, Everton and Wolves are all winnable games and we need to make the most of that before our tricky run.

Thing is the top 5 are winning much more games than previous seasons, so the total points haul needed is going to be bigger!

Spot on. If we go into those tricky games with momentum then we give ourselves a good chance of coming away from them with points. The added confidence and reduced pressure from knowing we don't have to win might see us lodge a few surprises.

Basically I vote for winning all our games between here and the end of the season.

The new years eve fixtures.....

Liverpool v Newcastle

Arsenal v QPR

Swansea v Spurs

Chelsea v Aston Villa

As long as we win and at least one of Chelsea or Arsenal drop points, then it'll will be a tremendous end to the year.

Newcastle could possibly take points off Liverpool, although maybe a certain Mr Carroll will have rare big day against his old club.

Can't see Arsenal slipping up at home again although it would be fantastic bonus if QPR could step up.

Villa look terrible right now and I really don't expect them to take a point off Chelsea at the Bridge.

Basically I just want us to win, we can only concentrate on ourselves and Swansea away, like Norwich before them, whilst being a tricky fixture is on you simply have to be winning if you have ideals of challenging for the top four let alone the title.

As long as we win I'm happy, any slip up elsewhere is a bonus but I won't hold my breath.

I can't see Liverpool keeping a clean sheet against Newcastle and at the moment they need about 100 chances just to score once, so there's definitely chance of them dropping points.

Now would be a good time for Taarabt to have a good game. Depends which Arsenal show up, but if Wolves can get a point there, so can QPR.

However bad Chelsea play (as expected they saved their one good performance of late for us) Villa are so shit they'll probably get spanked.

How would we do that? How do you put a T shirt on statue that has its arms connected to its body?

Chelsea won't drop points - no way, 95% confident Arsenal won't either....Liverpool could well do though, and if they do I'll practically discount them as any sort of threat to us whatsoever.

All arms tend to be connected to the body - at the shoulder:wink:

Velcro down the sides?

We've gained ourselves a little advantage and as such can afford the luxury of just concerning ourselves with how we perform. We aren't hoping that others drop points to move ahead of them, in the race for a champions league place - we are ahead of them with a game in hand.

Norwich away was a really good performance, especially as others had dropped points already and a little pressure was on to maximise the advantage. Let's just win again and if others drop points, all the better.
