Yeah, 3 points at Villa looks a banker, they are horrendous at home. Still gotta complete the task though, easier said than done.

Hopefully Villa will pick up a few points to see them safe by the time we play them but even if they don't I still fancy us, they look terrible and I actually thinks relegation is a possibility.

Alex MacLeish is the managerial equivalent of a big fat stinky turd

I have a sneaky feeling they will go down.

I think MacLeish might be on the payroll of West Brom, as he got Brum relegated and is dragging down Villa.

IF we can gain 3 points after our next round of natch I'm fully confident we will finish 3rd

We're lucky the teams competing with us for 3rd/4th all have to play each other, plus other top teams. I did the BBC predictor, trying to be generous to Arsenal and being harsh on ourselves, and I still had us finishing 3rd.

Today's win was vital, and a real test of character passed after being brought back to one one. Was massive for us to go on and still win the game.

Great to be back on level terms with the Gooners, their game at Man City will now be huge (as will our match at Sunderland) we have to at least match what they do and ideally we have to better it.

Hopefully City will do us a favour, get a win or at least a draw and we have to do our bet and get nothing less than a draw (hopefully a win) from what looks a very very difficult away fixture up at Sunderland.

I can just as easily see us losing to Sunderland and the goons beating city, and vice versa.

Nothing is certain. We could just as easily finish 5th as we could 3rd.

I disagree. We are equal on points with Arsenal and have, on paper at least, an easier run-in.

Chelsea still have to away to Fulham, Arsenal and Liverpool. I'd be surprised if they won more than one of those games. Catching 5 points on us in 7 games with the fixtures they have is going to be difficult for them.

The Chelsea/Arsenal game is a killer.

Either both must slow down or one must fall.

I agree with that, that round of fixtures is massive

Both games are toss ups really, we could win lose or draw as could Arsenal (yes I know you can always win lose or draw, just that its harder than usual to predict)

As long as we match the Goons result I will be happy, if we out do their result I will be ecstatic

All of a sudden though Chelsea's trip to Liverpool looks very winnable. Scousers won't have too much to play for as they're already in Europe...lets hope pride makes a difference because Chelsea will be bang up for it.

I would be happy with 4 points from our two games over Easter weekend, that will see us ticking a long nicely. Ideally though it would be huge if we could sneak a win at Sunderland, that would virtually guarantee a top four finish with a strong chance of getting third - providing we beat Norwich on the Monday as well.

I know quite a few Chelsea fans (coming from West London) and to a man they seem very confident still that they will catch us.

It surprises me because I thought they game at the Bridge was a huge point for us and a massive disappointment for them but I think their exploits in the CL gives them the confidence that when things are not going their way it will still come good.

They all seem to think that we have blown it and they are right on our heels waiting to take advantage of our inevitable slip up

They'll beat Wigan for sure, but their away game to Fulham is a big one. If they win that I'll be getting a little nervous.

Its still possible that Spurs and Chelsea finish top 4 and Arsenal slip out. Don't think its likely but still possible nevertheless...if Chelsea won away at Arsenal etc.

Luckily there is still no love lost between some of the players and fans going back to the Rafa v Jose days. Liverpool will be up for that one I reckon.
