Agreed. The B side argument never works out as much as I'd like it to. You rarely make like 8-11 changes in a side and achieve a positive outcome. Then the fans/media start to troll the club, resulting in a manager putting out a hardly unchanged side.

Surely it's the managers job to do well in all competitions. It's not a fucking distraction if you set out to win something however if ypu have already written it off... ..

Trophy please, it's become abundantly clear to me that top 4 is overrated, we never push on so trophy all day long, try and instil some sort of winners mentality with this shower.

If we win it and finish outside of top 4 we get Europa and a trophy. I want to see us win things. I see so many saying they hate us not winning things and we need to start winning trophies, but when the option of a Conference or Europa league pops up they dismiss it. We haven't won anything since 2008. We are in no position to dismiss a competition that even Roma took seriously.

If they are not able to buy the top tier players, we cannot return to the European football. A kind of a loop. Anyway, we did not bring a lot of so-called "top tier players" when we had CL or EL or ECL. We have one decent CB and 7 wingbacks(fullbacks).

Looking at the posts I can see many want any kind of Europe, whereas some think our squad isn't strong enough and a season focusing purely on domestic competition could be good for us,
