As hilarious as it is for you reading everybody elses posts, feel free to chip in to tell us why we are all so laughable to you..

I think SP's just giddy from the lack of oxygen due to us being this high up in the table.

Either that or the excitements finally driven him mad.

I refuse to get too excited, the signs are promising but some tough games coming up. If we are in this position come March then I dont think I will be able to watch such will be my nerves

Surely getting excited is what it is all about. I have been a fan for 42 years mate and I am as excited as fook, each game feels like a semi final and I am loving it. If we don't win it at least I enjoyed trying to win it.

One more game before our 'tougher' run starts. Everyone else is expecting us to drop points during that period. Away at City, Liverpool and Arsenal, at home to United. This will make or break any push. If we can still come out of that period in 3rd itll be a wonderful achievement.

i d settle for the same points as last season from those four games although i have a felling we msay get more

Man Utd have to play Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea in the league in the next month. I'd say we have a pretty good chance of still being in the running.

Why should we be scared of Liverpool, arsenal and City?

Answer: we're not.

They should be worried about playing us.

Oh I see your back in that old quality style of posting you like.

Nice time to be a Spurs fan, league table makes good viewing no matter where any fan thinks we will finish.

Wolves game will be tough though after a midweek game.

Deep breath...deep breath.
SP dons curly Scouse wig, and bushy Scouse fake moustache, complimented by hideously gaudy Scouse shell suit: "Errrrr...errrrrr...Calm down, calm down."

Enjoy not being in a title race

How can someone who is mad be driven mad

This man gets it!

This is OUR time.... OUR FUCKING TIME!!!!

i've been purposely telling myself for months that the title is out of our reach, but i was very excited after looking at the table today. We've got a great first XI, and as long as we stay reasonably healthy we can keep our spot near the top of the league.

we need that top striker to frighten teams even more.. cb to strengthen us even more as well.. a loan winger might be worth looking at 2

Last night's other result was pretty good for us (though some more injuries suspensions would have been great). Had Citeh spanked them 3-0 or similar again they'd have been able to rest a few players for the second leg, which is 3 days after our game. Now Mancini is going to need one eye on having his strongest team out for that. He's not going to want to go out of a second competition in a fortnight.

I reckon that their FA Cup elimination also means that they'll take the Europa more seriously as the potential for them to end the season trophy-less is increasing by the day. Shame they don't have a league match between their ties with Porto

Let's not forget City and Utd will be playing Thursdays and Sundays soon, that will have an affect on them no matter what they say about it. Also put the pressure on them should we get 3 points the day before.

Just have to hope they get through their first match to make it go on a bit longer.

Considering their current situations, i don't see Ferguson or Mankini fielding any of their first choice eleven on a Thursday for Channel 5. It will be kids and anyone they can drag in from the local astroturf's.

Well, Fergie won't, not entirely sure how Mankini is going to play this - he obviously would like as much silver this season as he can lay his hands on and, whilst the league would be a real scalp to take from their neighbours, i'm not entirely convinced he won't blow this by trying to juggle both competitions. Could be Citeh's undoing after such a storming start to the season. Their confidence took a knock falling out of the CL and it clearly affected them in the games that followed. If both us and United keep up the pressure on them then who knows what other hiccups we might be able to force out of the sky blues? Exciting times.

We will be at least level on points with City, and perhaps above them, come the final whistle of our game at the Etihad.

Since everyone seems to ignoring the race for 4th i'll post this here

I just did the BBC predictor for the remainder of the games this season. Out of our remainding games I predicted that we'd lose to city, draw with liverpool, lose to Arsenal, draw with united, lose to chelsea and draw with sunderland. All our other games i had as a win. This is how the top 6 ended

1. City 38 69 96
2. Utd 38 60 93
3. Spurs 38 35 84
4. Chelsea 38 37 82
5. Arsenal 38 22 75
6. Liverpool 38 18 73

Obviously results are rarely predictable so you never know. Just nice to see Arsenal outside the top 4 and us finishing above Chelsea.

Anyone else had a go?
