Bruno has openly admitted he was all set to sign for us and was hurt it didnt happen. The Sporting president then stated the money fell short.

It really looks like a competition that is only slightly better than the Intertoto Cup. So many teams must be trying not to be in it.

We joke about it, but in reality it's the only European competition we have a shot at winning nowadays.

How many years have we been in the EL and we haven't ever got past the QF's

But surely Pochs attitude was correct no?

We should have been in a position as CL finalist to sign our number one targets, not settle for 3rd choice players.

the summer we never signed anyone at all was the time Poch refused Plan B-Z

8th now is the most likely we must admit, Arsenal will win at home to Brighton, so will West ham against Shampton most likely.
Everton will lose to City taking them to 9th and with our form a loss to Leicester is also very likely. Only reason i want 7th and the conference league is that means A'nal still is below us.

Or best scenario if we can not get EL is to have Everton win or draw and Arsenal/we lose/draw so we avoid 7th and still finish above them.

The final day of a season doesn't always pan out as people expect.

Leicester need to win and will, therefore, take risks. I appreciate our indifferent form, but all the pressure is on the home side and we could take advantage. As news reaches them that LFC have taken an early lead against Palace - heads will inevitably drop. We could be a far dangerous proposition playing without fear or expectation.

West Ham know they should be fine but Soton on their day are no mugs. The Hammers bottled the opportunity to finish top4 and final day nerves could work against them.

It is unlikely but far stranger things have happened.

Yes they have. But not when the outcome of those strange happenings would be good for Spurs.

Do people seriously think we are beating Leicester? They are going all out for top 4.

I think we may well actually get a thrashing. When was the last time we even beat a team in the top 8 of the table?

The only teams we've beaten this year have been bottom of the table. We are rancid and the players couldn't care less. I give us next to no chance.

Not even going to watch. The sight of West Ham celebrating European qualification and Arsenal finishing above us will piss me off even more if I sit and watch it happen.

Not sure if I'll watch or not, but I refuse to define my season by whether or not we finish below a couple of average sides.
I'm now at the point where I'm thinking just pile it on, let's go for the shite jackpot, the worse the better with no positives to cling on to and maybe we'll have to take the drastic action required.

We will finish 9th - same points as 10th placed Leeds. I hope some people now realise that the reason for the low block / counter attack style that got us to the top of the league in December was because that was the only way Jose could get this bunch to acquire the points needed. I guess too many players revolted / sulked and probably the board were split on it as well as the fans, so Jose had to compromise, and we saw how that panned out.

I'll probably feel different come Sunday. I've never missed a Spurs game that i was able to watch so i'm probably just all hot air but it's been a long time since the club have made me feel like this.

Disinterested, disheartened, disappointed and lots more words that start with dis.... :)
