the run is most definitely over. had we came through and leicester bottled it, it would have been a great fairy tale. but our squad is a young squad and we lack that spirit and experience leicester city players had, losing the league this year, though unfortunate, will serve as a huge lesson for our players.

from today onwards we will know the importance of starting well, and how to sustain our play for 90mins. this match and the season will always be the lesson that we let it slipped, it will forever be the reminder our players need when they need a kick up their arse, and who knows, it might serve us better in the long run

As much as I've hated Leicester in this title run in (which admittedly is only really because it's us that's been battling them, I wouldn't care about the way they've done it if it was any other team they were competing with if I'm honest) I would love for both of us to be going at it again next season.

Now that we've had this setback this is actually the first time I've thought to myself that it's over, despite many thinking it was over before this. But it allows me to take a breath, relax and see things with a calmer mind and damn, what a season this has been, who would have fucking guessed it? I just hope we finish strong, finish 2nd and finish on a high.

Bitter pill to swallow, but can't rely argue it - we should be winning games like last night.

Doesn't help that every bloody team wants Leicester to win the league as well.....

We were unlucky yesterday. Very unlucky.
I think we gave a good perfomance, just couldnt get that second goal that would have killed the game. Maybe we should have been more cynical in second half? Think the title is gone now. And you can bet your arse that leicester will loose to both man u and chelsea now :)
We just have to keep on going for the last 3 games. Im proud of the team and this season has been magnificent. Its the start of something.

1. Poch didn`t react by changing tactics when West Brom started to come more into the game we just continued to play the same way giving away more and more momentum and corners. We could have gone to a more solid shape not pushed the fullbacks so far up the pitch for example.

2. No real leader on the pitch with the knowledge and experience to organise and help calm players down when required.
We should have this kind of player in the squad even if they don`t play every game.

3. After a great campaign there is no guarantee that next season will be a success look at Liverpool and Chelsea as examples of this. We need to make investments in the summer to ensure this does not happen...

4. We started slowly last season which has ultimately cost us in my view, I also think a lot of the players looked jaded however Rose and Walker looked pretty lively having been rotated for most of the season.

"Leicester citttyy, were nottt coming for youuuu" , gutted about the result last night but it has been a phenomenal season and i think we may have come too soon, next season with this seasons experience behind us should see us back in the mix, just a bit wiser.

Lets cement top 2 now COYS.

Finishing second will feel so much more sweeter when we go and buy our top targets in the summer and carry this form into next season whilst Leicester lose Mahrez and Kante and slip down the table because they only attracted mediocre players.

If we don't finish 2nd I'll be massively disappointed but I fear the result last night will derail us.

Southampton at least try to play football so that game might be a bit more open. With the league done and dusted Chelsea may not be so switched on to beat us. A point there would be a good result now.

It is what it is. We've not led the league at any stage so there's been no bottle job here. We have been chasing all along and have found ourselves in a position to challenge through sheer hard work and determination. It was always going to be hard to catch Leicester so we can be immensely proud of what we have achieved.

I still believe that we have been the best team in the league this season based on the quality of football we've played, having the best defence, the 2nd most potent attack and all with the youngest squad. Whilst I am forced to respect Leicester for what they've done they have still had an absolute avalanche of luck this season combined with a lot of teams seemingly rolling over and allowing them to have their way.

It's not over til it's over but we're right at the very start of something special, so fuck Leicester, let's see if they can finish above us next season, I'm betting they won't.

also, if you want to be optimistic, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Leicester lose to Utd next week and we beat Chelsea. If that happens then the old foxes will start to squirm again.

Everton on their day are good enough to beat them and Chelsea at home last day, as long as they don't also roll over, can also easily beat them so our task remains the same. Win out from here, nothing more, nothing less.

West Brom are one of the worst teams for us to play at this stage cos they dont really play football. We showed against Stoke that we'll smash teams that try to stand toe to toe with us and I expect all of 3 of our last opponents to try and do that.

I am still genuinely worried about Arsenal and City. We've got some horrific games to come still and 5 points really isn't much.
I'm a bit worried now with Alli and Dier out. I think we should get 3rd, but we've just got to hope City beat Arsenal which will make it much easier for us.

We could do with a decent result at the Bridge.

3rd? We'll get second. This team of ours bounce back from a disappointment like last night.

This is what hurts me the most. The fact that we have been the one team that has been threatening the top four for a while now; for a new challenger to just waltz in and take all the glory is quite painful.

We're mentally strong enough to go again next season though.

Hopefully we finish strongly and get second. Then we can go and smash Swansea and Leicester next year. It's a shame but this team will only get better
