Bloody hell. The sarries/wasps game was looking like being a whitewash but 2 yellows for saracens and some great rugby from wasps in the last 5 mins of the half has brought it back to 18-15 at the half

Good win for Sarries.

And good to see Billy V back.

And Maro, of course.

Is he back already is he. And Billy V. How is it you’re getting all your key players back just at the right time and we’re dropping like flies. Some unbelievably good luck that you’re having.

Ospreys v Sarries this Saturday, I believe. They seem to have gotten through that bad spell and now got some big hitters back too. Still, we’re doing well in Europe but I think the recent loss of Lydiate will hurt us as he was playing well but all to play for and it is at home.

It's just good English conditioning mate.

Must be something wrong with the Welsh diet ;)

Yep, Lydiate our for the rest of the season confirmed. Such a shame for him. Misses over a year out, comes back, gets up to speed amazingly considering how long he was out and now misses another year.

Moriarty back in training though. At least that’s something though I expect he’ll get injured again.

Well, while we’re dropping like flies at least you can always rely on Marler to get another suspension. :ROFLMAO:

Haven’t seen it, though , tbf. How bad was it @talkshowhost86 ?

Typical Marler idiocy.

Ioane clobbered him with an elbow off the ball (which the ref missed) so five minutes later, right in front of the ref, Marler decided to 'clear out' Ioane from a ruck. Unfortunately he cleared him out at head level, with his forearm, and whilst Ioane wasn't really anywhere near the ruck anyway.

Just daft.

At least England have good options there. I'd have thought Eddie might be getting to the point where Marler is just considered too much of a liability.

Can't be trusted, and not too good to drop. Every team will just wind him up until he does something stupid.

Time for a change.

Maybe Eddie Jones and the Quins Head Coach should have a sit down with Poch to discuss what what he’s done with Alli.

Dele has been brilliant at not taking the bait this season and I’m sure some of that is down to Poch. Having said that Dele has to take the lions share of the credit with regards to his temperament especially when you consider he’s still a young lad.

Marler is to far gone though imo and I genuinely believe he has, to put it mildly, some anger management issues. But he should seek some help and I’m not saying that as a piss take.

The annoying thing is that he's playing very well at the moment (rare for a Quins player) and I still think he's England's best scrummager on that side. But you're right that he's not that great that his indiscretions won't cause us problems. We saw it for the Lions in the Summer when he gave away some daft penalties and I just think his time might be up. Having said that there's a big drop off to the next option (Beno Afano) so I suspect Marler will be back in when available.

To be fair to the Quins management they've done a lot with Marler. He's had anger management courses before and for a long time it did change his actions. But in the last year or so he seems to have slipped back to his old ways, possibly due to the frustration with how mediocre Quins are, and someone needs to get hold of him again.

That’s all well and good but have they sat down with him and made him watch Anger Management with Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson?

@Arnoldtoo are you Sarries?

Strangely, I'm not anyone to be honest.

I like watching teams that play good rugby, which often coincides with the those with the best players. At the moment Sarries have got a hell of a team, and have progressed beyond the grind 'em down game they used to play, so I guess I like watching them more than most.

But I tend to like certain players rather than teams, and Sarries currently have three of my favourites ...

Yup they've got a hell of a squad at the moment, and seem to have come back from that 'bad run' with a vengeance.

I'll always find it hard to like Sarries though as I have a nagging suspicion they are still at least benefiting from their previous cheating, if not still finding ways to get around the salary cap.

You plastic fucker. ;)

You’re not proper like TSH. Poor **** has had to put up with watching Quins all his supporting life and you just prance about from team to team.

I hear Itoje loves West Glamorgan and is likely to sign for the Ospreys one day. Your kind won’t be welcome at the Liberty when he does.

Annoyingly they’ve come out of this rut at exactly the wrong time (from an Ospreys perspective)

We’re 2 points clear going into our home game on Saturday but if I had to put my house on it I’d say, come the end of the following week, that we’ll miss out.

Great couple of weeks though. Sarries and Clermont are 2 of the best (if not the 2 best) teams in Europe

Yeah!

In my second year of supporting the club properly we were made a national laughing stock as a result of some judicious use of blood capsules.

Arnie doesn't know how lucky he is.

Genuinely though...Quins are like mid 90s Spurs...on a podcast the other day someone actually described them as 'Quinsy'.
