Ah bollocks.
no Grandslam for the Ruperts then?France really don't deserve to win.
no Grandslam for the Ruperts then?
Only having a laugh, thats what rugby is all about after all - being able to socially interact with opposition supporters without things turning nasty. But if you really don't want a bit of gentle ribbing I'll desist. On the subject of tribalism, can we please avoid this thread descending into silly expressions of delight that a particular team lost, whichever team that may be.
I hear Nowell was getting a bit of stick on social media etc
He had a dodgy start but he grew in to the game and did some good things. He has a brain too. I hope we stick with him.
Care was excellent, he and Marler shouldn't have gone off when they did. Farrell played well, some encouraging signs from him. Fair play to him.
Agree wholeheartedly about 36 Pickard. For me Eastmond is breathing right down his neck. He needs to bring more to the table.
Lawes was very impressive. Launchbury always is.
I'm worried about Cole. Does the man need a rest? He seems to play every minute of every game for England and Leicester. Been that way for over a year now, which coincides with his drop in form. Shame Wilson isn't fit at the moment.
I don't think there will be a Grand Slam again this year.
Unless Ireland surprise us today then I think you're right.
Wales looked very shaky, France relied on England making some silly mistakes and I think England did enough to suggest they'll cause every team problems.
I think it's all been said already but there were positives and negatives for England.
Care and Farrell looked good (Care's slightly dodgy box-kicking aside) and the forwards generally did quite well.
We again looked out of sorts in the centres, and 36 still hasn't impressed me at all in an England shirt. Nowell did well enough once his nerves had settled, and hopefully May will get another chance in the next game because Goode was far too easily exposed at times.
I can't quite work out if Brown made a mistake for the first try or not. Other than that he was excellent again and the subs also made a decent impact.
Apart from Twelvetrees I'm not sure what else I'd change in the next game. Just need to be a bit more clinical and I think we'll be okay.
I think I have to stick up for 36. He had his best game for England and made some good yards through the gain line. Not one for the scrap heap yet; let him grow.
