The market for Zaha at £70m is very small though. Potentially tiny if Chelsea's transfer ban is upheld. The market for AWB is gonna be massive, i reckon. Lot of teams fighting over him.
I don't think Zaha is worth £70m but that wasn't the point

Just saying specifically that last night's performance pointed to a Zaha type player

FWIW - If we were to go in for him then (and I hate to say this) we should be making an offer of, say, £40m and then hoping that it gets leaked and his head gets turned and we can do business below 50

He shouldn't have signed a new contract so recently if he wants to leave for CL etc. but people are allowed to change their minds and players get poached from far bigger clubs than Palais

I hope you’re all right. I think we’ve made terrific progress and people are going to have to sit up and take notice.

After we beat Man City the pundits on french tv were talking and the question was asked - does this victory make spurs a great club? The consensus was you have to win things before you’re seen as a top club.

However since then I have heard people speak about spurs with more respect. It used to be more - great way of playing but not like the rest of top 6. Now people are talking about spurs a bit differently.

Is all this fair ? No. Anyone with an interest in spurs (like us) can see that we’re a club on the up with a charismatic manager who can stand toe to toe with anyone in Europe. We can remember glorious victories under Poch against all the big epl teams and Real Madrid and Dortmund etc etc but I think foreigners have not had that knowledge. Arsenal have a big rep because people grew up with Wenger bringing through french LEGENDS and the other teams have won a lot. We start at a disadvantage.

But I think next season people will be watching and seeing whether we can repeat what we’ve done next year or whether, like Ajax probably will, we’ll sink back out of view.

We’ve laid down the marker and I hope we can follow through. We’re on the cusp of something glorious.

Would rather loan garath for two years if any truth in the rumours

Yup. But I just can't see why Real would do that - loan him for two years, during which he depreciates...then sell him for less.

It's certainly not what I would do

Is there anyone in this thread who isn't banned from the transfer/ITK forum?
Sadly not, this thread is like a pre-summer get together for all of us to get to know one another and what players we like. Once the summer comes, we break off into our little groups and have group chats together pretending we’re ITK and we actually sign players.

I am sick of seeing people break the rules all the time. People’s punishments should be finite in length but it’s not that hard to stick to the rules :D

Couldn't agree more.

A&C always warns people to abide by the rules, and makes it clear that people will be banned if they don't adhere to them.

Stick to the rules & you've got nothing to worry about.

Be a good boy, like I've always been.

It's interesting, I hope the agents have the insight to realise just where we are going as a club and how beneficial it'll be to their clients.

Wasn’t you one of those ones A&C referred to earlier who had been given a reprieve from your ban? Not so angelic after all Mr.Coops ?

I posted a pic in the wrong thread didn’t even have 10 secs to delete before the lube’d up ban hammer from hell came down on me.

Was both frightening and arousing at the same time, I still battle with nightmares of that fateful day.

I will throw in a fat £20 (which is a lot where I come from) to get my access back. I think that’s the most fair for first time offenders.

Donate to thyne King, and if he’s happy with our offerings then we can dine in Valhalla with the God’s again.

What, innocent little old me?

You would be one of the last people I'd expect to miss the unbelievable irony, subtle sarcasm and, quite frankly world class humour :cautious: within my post.
