The fact we tried but didn't buy Leandro backs my argument fella, we won't pay over a certain amount to buy a 2nd striker, i agree we need 2 top strikers, but like Newcastle found Cisse for peanuts, we should be shopping where we can afford, Llorente and LD won't come cheap, and thats why they won't be here in this window.

No matter how much I dislike Robin van Persie I think he's a better player than Llorente by some distance. Considering Llorente also has one year left on his contract I think 20 million is a bit steep too.

Why do you insist on calling him a second striker?
Adebayor only cost £4m so I see no reason why we wouldn't spend a lot of money on another top quality striker if one becomes available.

He believes the fee will be settled at 25 Million pounds as Porto want 30 Million Euro`s whilst we only want to pay 20 Million pounds.
Note that 25m pounds is more than 30m euros. Does that sound like our fearless leader to you? Didn't think so.
