Anyone know of any Real Madrid U19's to look out for in particular?

oscar(#10) is highly rated but he was poor in the first game i thought, then again the same can be said of edwards. their #9 dani gomez is the top scorer in the competition but again i didn't he was that great against us. their best players were their keeper(adrian fernandez) and their lb(francisco garcia) imo.

Any more insight into what was said?

i don't know exactly but basically along the lines of edwards' attitude isn't right and that onomah's only content with doing just "well". as i said though, i don't have the book so just going by what someone else has said, maybe someone on here will be able to clarify at some point.

i don't have the poch book but apparently he speaks quite negatively about josh and marcus in it

I'm only halfway, but he's not been negative on him so far..

July 2016

"In this period we've been able to focus on players who are knocking on the first team door. Two in particular: Josh Onomah, who we ended up convincing to stay, despite having one foot out of the club after many clubs showed interest; and Marcus Edwards, another sensationally talented player with the ability to dazzle - he's a little Messi."

September 2016..

"Ahead of the league cup tie against Gillingham, I dared to say that Marcus Edwards, a talented 17 year old from Camden, reminds me of Messi. He moves in the same way, touches the ball many times while on a run, and comes out of congested areas with similar ease. I also said that we have to be patient with him and the way he builds his future. The way he perceives the profession and his relationship to it, will determine the type of player he becomes."

Ccv was poor for Leeds goal apparantly just waiting to see it. Honestly don’t think he’s in same bracket as Foyth or even close. Will be sold to a championship club imo.

poor performance. tanganga probably the pick of the bunch but not a great night for any of them.
Tanganga, Bennetts and Edwards in patches. Rest were meh. Probably one of the worst games I've seen from Luke Amos (who I like) and Maghoma was pretty poor, particularly with his long passing.

The commentators were praising Loft, but he really lacks guile and isn't on the same page as a lot of our players, resulting in a disconnect between our midfield and him. Having said that, Sterling came on for the last twenty and barely had a kick, such was our inability to find him, so I don't think it was all Loft's fault.

Pritchard actually had a pretty decent second half off the bench and at least showed a bit of drive and took a few risks, when many were treading water, but we did lose control of midfield with Skipp off the pitch.

Shashoua had a quiet second half but I felt far more confident we'd score with him on the pitch than Tracey, who was poor again.

And Harrison... I realise he's coming back from injury, but some of his decision-making was really terrible. I hope he gets back to the performance level he was once at, but for me he looks pretty poor these days.

You’ve seen Foyth what twice and you think you can make that sweeping statement?

Foyth was atrocious for one of the goals against West Ham too

It wasn't really CCV's fault IMO.

He's a very different player to Foyth - both have their merits but Foyth is clearly a lot better on the ball.

Sorry to say some people on here think they are high and mighty and know it all.Don’t consider that someone may have watched Foyth in the World Cup as well.I’ve seen enough to know he is class act. There were a catalogue of errors for the West Ham goal before it came anywhere near Foyth ,especially from dier.I’ve seen enough of Ccv to know he is an old fashioned CB.Possible his style could complement Foyth/sanchez in future. But personally I doubt it.It’s quite clear we are buying ball playing CB who can play at DM if needed. And I just can’t see that Ccv has the technique.

The main error was Foyth positioning to play everyone on side but I’m just allouding to everyone can make a mistake that ends up a goal.

Foyth May be good on the ball and may become a very good Cb but to say CCV will just end up a championship player is mad.

Foyth is just the new toy so obviously better than anything from our academy.
