Only Liverpool comms can claim they are facing a physically stronger team, while starting 4 first teamers against a side with no first team experience between em

Can he be banned based on U21 match? I figure it only applies to future U21 matches.

Good question but I assume there could be an FA punishment. I doubt reds by themself would matter, but there's got to be some kind of punishment for that. Imagine if someone spat at someone in an u23s match and got banned, but then got called up to the PL the following week. It's a disgusting act but it would have essentially received no punishment for it. Something like that especially as the experienced player completely over reacting to a normal challenge is terrible behaviour and sets such a poor standard

I don't want to be cruel, but this team is really uninspiring:

Skipp, Shashoua and Oakley-Boothe on the bench...

Meanwhile, Liverpool have gone strong:

Uninspiring or not they did the business on bindippers, with their first steamers and all.

2 good results in consecutive days after previously beating them in youth cup too.

They must be fed up playing us

I hope you are right - it was a disgraceful reaction by Lallana.

Very tenacious display from Spurs; a good work ethic throughout and we were quite well organised for a change.

We had absolutely loads of situations from which we could have scored - maybe eight to ten - but our decision-making was pretty appalling, particularly Bennetts, Sterling and Tracey. Only really Roles showed any subtlety, and even then it was glimpses, and he was just as greedy as the others at times.

That was the best match I've seen Dinzeyi have since U18 football.

Going from Twitter lallana is banned from PL games. How was Roles tonight? Seems to be making a mark ?

I also noted that Justin Cochrane was on the sideline giving orders. I don't know if I'm just having blank but don't ever remember seeing him at this or the u18s level. He usually is the main behind the development from u16s down and very highly thou ht off. Can anyone else remember if they have seen him there before. Promotion maybe?

I know young players can go through fluctuations in performances but it is strange how Dinzeyi's performances since being a scholar haven't quite matched up to the performances we saw when he was an u16 playing u18 football where he looked so promising. He has shown it in glimpses but he looked a lot more assured before. Hopefully that game gives him confidence as he was essentially against a first team attack. Thought they all stood up well tbf Brown and Eyoma included

I thought exactly this. I wondered if he has been temporarily promoted to try to stop the rot.

He knows that whole age group and they all look up to him. There has been a lot of change, over the last year or so, so they could brought him up for some stability. A friendly face if you will
