Hes not going to get a look in there if we want him to get a run at left back. Jacobson plays there and is an important player for them as he takes all their set pieces.

Further forward then sure, but they do have quite a few attackers, although Im not sure how many are out of contract in the summer.

Jacobson's got more injury prone as he's got older and Ainsworth does like to rotate... also, their wing-forward roles are taken by much older players (at least while Kashket is injured) so there's potential there.

A lot of people say that Aurier has more 'upside' and room for growth etc etc, what is that based on?

He has played against adults whereas KWP has only played against kids, I assume

Interesting

He’s just retweeted this on Twitter too.
Looks like he may stay after all.

But wouldn't that suggest that Aurier has less upside cause we're aware what his level is when playing against adults? (based on 250 career games)

He likes/retweets most of the things that mentions his name, wouldn’t look much in to it
My concern is that if he’s doing all this now , does he really want to be here ,sounds like he will be off as soon as it’s not going his way . It would be nice if we can get players to stay because they wanted to stay not because of the money we are offering and the promises of jumping the queue into the first team . This situation is looking more and more like an Edwards and A TOB scenario . Both probably not ready to be put in with the first team training and surroundings yet , but were Given priority access and easy route , as we as a club giving Into them and their agents , over the risk of losing them . But then a year or 2 down the line it becomes clearly visible that they are not and were not ready after all . For me I like Edwards TOB and griffiths , and would rather they were not rushed into first team and given time to mature into professional footballers , but I fear by them and their representatives putting pressure on the club to be fast tracked as such , is doing them more bad then good . This has already been proved in the cases of Edwards and especially TOB .

That’s rubbish really. He’s only got one career, and if he has an offer from RB Leipzig as reported, he’d be foolish not to consider it - as the facts are that there is more of a pathway to 1st team football there than in the PL. Hopefully we’ve convinced him to stay though.

Completely misunderstood my point . These boys are clearly not ready to compete first team football in the premier league . But because agents or parents think they are , the club is being forced to involve them , when clearly they are not ready , resulting in the boy failing in the long run .if I’m honest he is better off leaving then forcing the club to use him before he is ready . Hopefully I’m wrong but let’s see what happens !

Who says they're not ready though? I'm not saying Griffiths is per say, I've not seen enough of him to judge, but would Walker-Peters really have done any worse than Aurier has this year? Maybe the Bundesliga is not quite as harsh to go into as the PL, but the likes of Sancho and Lookman are doing well over there. We'll see more academy stars trying their luck, for sure.

England games in under 17 euros on itv 4 anyone know if uefa are streaming games on their website. Appears to be nothing on Eurosport. More interested in Ireland as Troy Parrott will be playing . Prob only Binks in the England squad. Starts on friday

For the betting man @coys200 and others that may be interested it appears as though Mason Greenwood is not going to the Euros to complete his GCSE's which is a stupid reason imo. Also apparently Curtis Jones is travelling to Roma so may also not be going, which is a big shame as they are two of the best talents of this team.

If Bobby Duncan was playing regular football I'd be more than confident of him playing up top, but I reckon they would have gone with Greenwood as Duncan is in limbo this season. Not sure how Duncan will do if he is going having not played much football.

Even last years age group didn't miss two of their best players and they were the better age group. Taking into account the poor prep, I don't think we have the best chance atm, but the general quality of England football and squad should still see them do well

Also speculation is that Binks won't be included either which means no Spurs players.
