Our u17s are playing in the Liam Brady Cup at Arsenal's training ground. It's us, Arsenal, Chelsea and Vitesse.

We beat Vitesse 1-0
We beat Chelsea 4-1 - Cooper got 2 assists and a goal

Face Arsenal tomorrow morning, then 1st v 2nd and 3rd v 4th. I imagine we will be in the final

We won the Liam Brady Cup

We beat Vitesse in the final JLB got a goal and assist . Will try and find final score

Confirmed u14s Scarlett was with the u17s. 3 year group jump, great experience for him I'm sure.

u14 Forson was also with the u17s and he is still 13.

Otherwise was the standard squad you'd expect with that age group, one of the Craig's appeared to also be involved

i'll let @IGSpur do the honours of naming them all as there's a couple i'm unsure of.

BR: Marcus Muir,Max Robson, Eddie Alberti-Carrington, Jordan Hackett(-Walton?), one of the Craigs, Dane Scarlett, Dermi Lusala, Chay Cooper, Omari Forson

I'm sure you guys know front row. Also I got it wrong it's clearly an u16 tournament and not u17.

Scarlett, Forson and Hackett are the u14s. Hackett is a decent CB, surpringly slick with his footwork to get out of trouble. But of course that's off limited viewing.

Other than Cooper rest of back row are u15s

Front row are all u16s, bar Aird-Munn and Oluwayemi

Yeah did think after posted. Gerrard will basically have pick of any young player he wants more or less.

Plus they'll just become a Liverpool feeder club. Solanke already linked. Not sure that'll sit all that easy with Liverpool fans though...

just looking through the u23s and it's crazy to think that tsaroulla has missed the entire season, i hope that he's able to play again. we should find out soon who is being kept on and who is leaving, if i had to guess i'd say -

staying - whiteman, austin, tanganga, brown, tsaroulla, marsh, duncan, roles, bennetts, edwards, shashoua, sterling

sold/loaned - walkes, ogilvie, georgiou, amos, harrison

released - glover, o'reilly, c. maghoma, pritchard, tracey, loft

would expect/hope that a couple from the first list will be allowed out on loan too but primarily they'll be staying, think walkes and ogilvie will be sold, georgiou and amos on loan unless either really impress in pre-season, harrison i think will get one more year to try and make a name for himself on loan.

2nd years:

de bie - will be offered a pro
freeman - released or 3rd year scholarship
lock - 3rd year scholarship?
hinds - will be offered a pro
reynolds - most likely offered a pro
eyoma - on a pro
dinzeyi - on a pro
tob - on a pro
griffiths - offered a pro but 50/50 whether he signs or not

Could be great for the likes of Woodburn.

I’m not sure Liverpool will let that many kids go or likes of solanke woodburn. Their squad isn’t the biggest. Depends what they do in summer. But Ox likely out till new year and Can is off and still need at least 1CB. So they’ve got to do all that before can thicken the squad. I can see the younger going that Gerrard May feel are already better than Rangers standard.

I imagine he will be instantly trying to take Jones. I don't know who Rangers got but I'm confident he would be their best player. I'd be surprised if Klopp actually tried using him properly next season, and Gerrard would really give him a chance

I would say Marsh and Duncan are at risk too, depends on intentions with other players - i.e. they may be kept to back fill the U23s if we loan others.

I think Harrison may get one more year, as you say, because we may think he can command a small fee (Will Miller style) and you could argue the same for Georgiou. But if either got a permanent offer on a free or nominal fee I’d imagine we would be tempted to let them go.

Charlie Owens on the bench for QPR today

Impressive from the young man. Always had potential as a Carrick style playmaker but didn't have the personality to dictate play and control the game in the way a deep lying playmaker must. Hopefully he's matured and grown in confidence at QPR. Obviously the game today is a bit of a dead rubber where youth player are given a chance to taste the first team experience but as someone else pointed out a couple of days ago, QPR are really doing excellently well bringing through these ex-Spurs lads through (admittedly not so much with their own youth products).

Can't say I'm massivley surprised they've been released, I just checked and it seems like Owens gets played a lot, and I always rated him of Stylianides. I wouldn't be surprised to see Owens get used by QPR in the future, very Carrick like, but just needs to develop greater sense of authority.

That reminds me I saw @WindyCOYS retweet this. Shows the positive work Ramsey and Les are doing over at QPR. Probably why so many of our players are going there, as they know they may get some chances.

I'll claim that haha.

Hope he gets on, lovely little player I think, just has that umph missing
